Clarion Inn Cedar Falls - Cedar Falls

Very nice place,little noisy since our rooms were by the pool. A good location for going to UNI and a wide variety of shopping and places to eat right across the road.

The room service was horrible. An hour after I called they called me back and said they lost my order and did I still want it. I said yes, because it was late and I was still hungry. They showed up another half hour later and said they forgot about me again and that the food was free, but the food was cold and horrible! I could not eat it! the hotel and the room we're very comfortable except for the air conditions it was so cold you had to keep your sox on and couldn't use the themostate because it didn't stop it from running it held at 55 thats is to cold for a little room I turn off the air and was still cold in the morning. ROOM WAS SMALL. BED WAS SMALL. IT WAS A FULL SIZE BED, NOT THE KING AS PROMISED. THE SMELL OF CHLORINE FROM THE POOL KEPT ME UP, EVEN THOUGH MY ROOM WAS NOT NEAR THE POOL.

The furnishings were nice, and I appreciated that it had the microwave and refrigerator available. Some of the maintenance was lacking with painting and modernization. There also was not a free breakfast. The location is super convenient, and the bedding was oober comfy.

room was great, all was fine except there was a wedding reception going on and because the hotel is wide open the noise was tremendous and lasted until after three in the morning. then in the morning approximately five thirty a loud group of people including small children were running and tearing around and woke us up. This hotel is way overpriced. No way is it worth what we paid for a queen bed room! Our ceiling had a huge crack that had been filled in but still left us sleeping with one eye open as it was directly over the bed. Overall the hotel just had a gross feeling to it. Its old, and needs SEVERAL remodels. I would not stay here again...

This hotel needs to be re-done. The smell of the chlorine from the pool permeates the entire property. Staff was indifferent, but it's not totally unexpected for this sort of property.

I like the full services that the Clarion offers, at a reasonable rate. The Cedar Falls Clarion for us was more like staying at a home/resort than a "hotel". We liked it.

My entire familly was really pleased with these accomodations. Very clean, nice pool, nice small bar area off the lobby, a few activities like pool and ping-pong and video games. Rooms were comfotable and decent size (we had 2) . Just a very nice and clean place. Glad I made that choice.
