It was fine, as we were visiting friends in the Brookhaven Country Club area. The construction of 635 was a mess, but not a problem that the hotel could remedy. The room was just fine, clean, but extremely old and in need of a remodel. The air conditioner worked, but was extremely loud when it "kicked on or off". We were there for my daughters pageant and other festivities. Decent hotel, rooms need updating. Was in a nonsmoking room that smelled like old cigarettes. Didn't sleep at all because there was a raging bachelor party right above us. They knew I had a two year old, so why would they put us there??They said they wouldn't shut down the party because they […] were paying guests also. Rooms badly need remodeling. Hotel looks old. Bathrooms have rust. Beds are comfy. Room service ok. Staff was average.ots of kids running around.

The lobby and front desk staff was top notch. However, the air conditioning took about an hour per degree to cool. The smoke detector started chirping from a low battery and the wall in the bathroom had been poorly repaired. The t.v. and bed were very nice. A little over priced for the condition of the room.

The WiFi in the hotel was spotty and unreliable. Asked to change rooms for better signal and was denied only to be connected with company that provides WiFi for hotel. No help. Had to go down to desk several times until a very nice employee took the time to get his tablet and try the signal, which was spotty as well. Was never fixed. In room 811, when […] air conditioning was turned on it made a constant grating sound, which prevented me from getting a good night's sleep. At 5 a.m., the staff obviously started cooking bacon, because my room was permeated with the smell of grease. At first I thought the electrical cords under one of the beds was shorting, because the light's flickered, but realized that it was bacon. Was almost unable to breath in the room. Absolutely no water pressure in the room, and the toilet was clogged. At 7 a.m., the jackhammers started on the construction site right outside, but by then I was getting ready to check out. Devamı

I got charged for free WiFi 10 DLS a night, the shower doesn't have hot water, the telephone near the bed did not work even after it was reported, the bathroom is in very bad shape

Besides the local road contruction going on nearby the hotel everything was fine. The breakfast offering ws excellent and being right next door to a general store was perfect as we had to make a few runs to get things we forgot to pack!

The manager Gregory was great! The bellman was precious as well! But I complained 3x regarding how hot it was in our room. No one ever called back but said he'd speak a with a manager. The stay during those 3 days was miserable at night. Another bummer about the stay was in room 316 we had a passing door right next to ours dividing the smoking rooms […] from our nonsmoking room. The thing is when your relaxing at night in room 316 it sounds like a headboard hitting the wall every time someone walked through the passing door. Devamı

The gentlemen who assisted us at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful. He went out of his way to help us locate the testing center and printed my daughters ticket when the computer in the lobby was not working. He made our stay very pleasant.

The hotel staff answered phones whille they were checking me in. I asked them to call a manager to pick up the slack so that they could finish checking me in. She did not call.

I've visited Dallas five times in the last year and this iS the first time i've had a great stay at a nice affordable hotel. Will be going back. I found the shuttle to the mall especially helpful and convenient.

Staff were very nice and room was adequate, but this is not exactly what I think of when i think of a Doubletree. I thought the hotel would be in great condition and be kept up very well. It (especially the inside) looks like it hasn't been updated since 1993.

This hotel is centrally located, the room is comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for clothes, lots of good-quality hangers (I find that I usually have to ask for more), nice bedding. The lobby is quite beautiful, with waterfall and beautiful plants. There is a nice baby grand there as well, which made me very happy as I play piano and miss it while […] away from home. I have stayed in many Double Tree Hotels over the past 20 years. This was one of the lowest rated ones ever. They had no newspapers for sale. The convenience store was very expensive.The pillows were the worst Ive ever tried to sleep on. people were friendly and effecient but I was disappointed.

The front desk staff at check-in was very unfriendly and unprofessional, but the staff at check-out more than made up for it. She was extremely busy, but organized, friendly and attentive to everyone she help. She went above and beyond in service. The hotel its self was as one would expect from a Doubletree - clean, comfortable & a good value.

First, the lobby was beautiful but the room was smelly. The decor was outdated. The carpet looked like it was from the 1930's, the room was small and gloomy. It was so hot as the AC rattled so badly that we choose to stay hot rather than hear the rattle. Then worst of all, I lost my cell phone and thought it may be in the room. We were almost out of […] Dallas & called the hotel to see if it was turned in. No one would look in the lost and found. I asked to speak to a manage and was told there was not one there. It was an awesome experience, except my ccard was charger twice by the hotel for 25.00 each-after I had paid in full through Hotels.com. I did not have any extras at the hotel..???

Room was the last near the emergency exit..all the way at the end of a hallway and was SO noisy!! Expected no noise due to location, but could hear the "neighbors" from all directions!! Other than that-no complaints-awesome beds!!

We loved the location. Easy to visit gallaria and Addison. Free parking big feature for us. The hotel is beautiful and room was big and comfortable. We will stay here again.
