Beautifully remodeled and sparkling clean. Parking easy in and out with either garage or outside lot. Room is spacious but closet inadequate because safe interferes with opening doors fully and it is very shallow. Towels were thin.

Very pleasant staff - very accomodating! Everything you need is within walking distance. Close to the metro. We will definitely be back.

Nice hotel- rates vary considerably but we received a very good rate. Not mayt places to eat nearby but rooms espcially confortable. Biggest drawback was the $15 per night parking charge. restaurant seemed always empty- if prices were more reasonable, it might bring in some customers. Even breakfast was expensive

There for business and the location was great for me. Hotel was very nice and staff was very helpful. Not a 5 star hotel but I was very comforatable.

Hotel is very convenient to DC and nice proximity to shopping and dining without spending mega bucks. For the money, we will travel to DC more often.

I stay here regularly and it meets all my requirements underground parking close to subway great neighborhood with excellent restaurants well equipped rooms - modern clean and plenty of power outlets desk to work on top quality TV wifi iPhone clock radio coffee on tap staff and service first rate

This hotel had great service and very friendly people. We were greeted by two smiling gentlemen who, after checking us in, stated that if we had any problems to come directly to them. Both the service and the food was superb and plentiful. While the printer had a little problem as we tried to print our boarding pass, an employee worked diligently to […] get it fixed and then found us an alternative way to get that task completed. Considering that we were there because of a funeral and could have had a terrible stay, the Hotel and its people were the bright spot of the weekend. Thank you! Devamı

My daughter and I chose this hotel in order to visit a couple of universities in the DC area. We were both totally impressed by the service provided, and by the physical aspect and cleanliness of the hotel. The food at the restaurant was also very impressive for a hotel of the price range of the hotel.

The hotel is in a great neighborhood and close (3 blocks) to a metro stop. It was very clean. The service was quite good. The restaurant had decent food---nothing fancy. Free internet was a plus.

This is a very nice property. Clean, fresh furnishings and linens. Reasonably priced parking and helpful staff. We were visiting our son at American University so we liked the proximity to AU as well as to downtown DC. The only slight drawback is that there isn't as much to do within walking distance as there is in say, Dupont Circle. But that's about […] the only drawback. And, some people would say it's a better location because it's near a lot of high-end shopping. We will stay here again as long as the price is reasonable.(The rates can get a little too high when the hotel is nearly booked). Devamı

My husband son and myself stayed here while on a visit to tour the campus of American University. The hotel was very conveniently located and the staff was exceptionally pleasant . The bistro was perfect for a late snack after our long drive from NYC ( the Tomato soup was great) I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a room by the elevator- which would keep a light sleeper awake Huge king size bed that could have slept 4

close to metro--lots of restaurant choices and World Market store--one metro stop to Bethesda--great price for a hotel like this.

I stay last year to help my daughter with her first year move in to American University. This year I repeat my stay at the hotel, because it's very near to college and many stores to buy things for her college room. Pros: 1. great location for all needs: Whole Foods, Friendship Heights Tube, top-flight stores, including great discounts, services and restaurants 2. Hotel staff very helpful 3. Rooms: comfortable, warmly lit and cozy, full internet access easy and free; great bedding 4. Hotel Restaurant - GREAT DEAL.. I have entertained numerous discerning friends […] right there at the hotel - HEALTHY, basic options with calories. listed, FRESH soups and omelettes, delicate salmon, ribs, steak, and Starbucks on the premises, with good service.... all at 2/3 to 1/2 the price you'd pay down the street.. Only stress was that the printer provided for the business area computers 1. Did not have a scan option and did not print in color and 2. more importantly, was not available to me at a crucial time because they'd run out of toner and had purchased the incorrect replacements. It took a day to replace the toner- not sure why replacement took so long. In the meantime, the staff made every attempt to help me do my printing. Micheal was particularly helpful. In the end, I had to go to the Fed Ex/KINKOs south a few blocks on Wisconsin St. to do the printing. They also have scanner and were very helpful when I really needed the help. But it was expensive and I should not have had to incur this printing cost and inconvenience. Since Marriott bills itself as geared to serve the business community, it might help to have a more complete printing/scanning set up with extra toner on hand at all times. Overall, I love the Marriott here and try to book with them every time I come through DC on my business trips. Devamı

We had Bikes for free from the Hotel to go to the Capitol (45 min.). Because of the earthquake, we had to leave the Bikes there. The Hotel managed all to get back the Bikes, without any additional fee. All People there, were very kind. Thank you!!!

The hotel is set up for business travelers and the rooms small if you are traveling with family. I spent five days there with two children. Although it was a tight fit, we had a pleasant stay. Most of our time was spent out of the hotel so space was not too much of an issue. I would stay there again but probably look for a hotel with more space if I […] were traveling with family. the hotel became a Marriott two years ago but the entire hotel still looks brand-new. I had a handicap accessible room which had a huge bathroom. The hotel was very quiet and the staff was very attentive to my needs. perfectly located for metro on red line, good restaurants, great shopping, excellent parking and all with the compliments of a new upgraded courtyard. This hotel works for me in every way -the staff are good and the rooms properly equipped with all online requirements, wifi and plenty powerpoints. whats not to like?

All staff, especially Michael & Michelle were extremely helpful and courteous. Everyone was GREAT. Thank you all for a most pleasant stay !!

i just have to say it was perfect, staff, location and the room just perfect.

I needed to see my 89 yr old uncle in DC for the weekend, and this spot hit the spot perfectly- my brother tagged along at the last minute and they accommodated him very nicely. The restaurant is top notch with very polite waits staff, and great food at reasonable prices. Overall great hotel. Rooms are a little tight for 2 adults/ 2 children. Rooms very clean but bathroom NEEDS EXHAUST FAN!! Great breakfast area downstairs in lobby. Would definetely stay again!

Josh and his wife were very happy with our choice. The room was comfortable and attractive. The hotel is a very short walk to the Metro and in a great neighborhood for shopping, from Barney's to Filene's Basement.

Really nice hotel in upscale area. Very good value. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Hotel was spotless. Also cheaper to park than others in the area.

This is a great place to relax while visiting family in Chevy Chase. Resturant good and not over priced, beds really comfortable and service great.

We will stay at this hotel again when we come to Washington D.C. The hotel was clean and attractive. The staff were always polite and welcoming. The cafe' is a nice place for breakfast to start your day.
