Holiday Inn Express Van Nuys - Van Nuys

We stayed a total of 7 nights and found the staff very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The place is being work on, the pool is not open. We went there because of the picture of the pool looks nice. We asked if the pool is open and they laugh and said no and did not even say when it would be open. The breakfast is limited. Would not go back...

Hotel is very clean and nice! Staff is great! Good location to get to the highway, but once you leave the car dealership grounds it is a terrible neighborhood. But the dealership gives the hotel a nice chunk of good property. Would definately stay there again! Clean, great staff, and good breakfast!

The bathrooms are very small. Not a space for 2 at all. Per the hotel staff all of the bathrooms are the same size. The location was good for getting meals and taking walks. Right off of the freeway. Overall, it is a good location. Seems in LA the only consistent hotels to stay in are the Holiday Inn Express.

We arrive to a property that was being renovated and parking was limited. We enjoyed the service and the hospitality, also the property was within range of all the sights we wanted to see.

the hotel was undergoing a remodel which I was unaware of when I made the reservation. The pool are looked nice online , but it was locked up and the heater wasn't working.

I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and the customer service. The icing on the cake was the quiet. I walked down the hallway in the evening and heard a baby screaming in the room next to mine, but when I stepped inside my room and closed the door I couldn't hear anything!

Extremely friendly staff, great room for the money. I would stay here again -- and made me realize that those funny "Holiday Inn Express" commercials have some merit! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value in an expensive area, for sure.

The hotel was convenient for work, but the area was not great. The water pressure in the shower was too hard and the bathroom was tiny. TINY! But other than that it was a good stay.

We chose this hotel because of the price. The hotel itself was fine, free wifi and breakfast every morning. It was clean, comfortable and great shower pressure- very important! The location however was not very good for us but that was our fault for not really looking into it. Surrounding area was not great either. The staff was very friendly as other travelers had noted, but also true was the size of the bathrooms in the rooms. OK for a gymnast who can balance themselves over the toilet while brushing their teeth or shaving. The bathrooms are so small that the toilet is right in the middle with no room to stand on the side, and the sink is right in front of the […] toilet. Very poor design. I have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express Hotels and the breakfast served at this location was the worst of all of the them. The staff tried hard, but we ended up eating out at the local eatery after several mornings of the same thing. Good location and easy access to the freeway. Devamı

Staff were vey pleasant and friendly and the room was clean. the comp breakfast was surprising very good :)

The only issue we had was that the bathroom was too small. Other than that, quality stay and the beds were super comfortable!

I love this hotel. We stayed there for only one night. The staff were so nice, the room was so clean and neat.. the smell is better than ok. For me, it's even better than some famous hotels in Vegas wherein all you can smell is cigarette smoke before you get to the room ( cuz you have to pass by the casino..ugh!) I would recommend this hotel to everyone […] who is looking for a good place to stay. It's simple and yet so elegant. Devamı

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel was updated, clean and nicer than expected. The continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, pancakes and more! The pool is outside. The parking is free. It was better than the 4-star hotel we stayed at later.

The hotel was overall okay. Staff was friendly when arriving. Issue I had was with not having hot water I'n the room. I brought it to the attention of the person at the front desk and they brushed me off. They stated that there was nothing they can do and that they would have the manager contact me. I contacted corporate and they do not care either. […] To this day I have still not been contacted by anyone to resolve this issue. Devamı

Although the staff was very nice, the hotel was not. The bed was hard as a rock - extremely uncomfortable. The room was hot when I got there so I turned on the air conditioning. It was really loud and went on and off all night long which kept me awake all night long. I would not recommend this hotel.

Rate should be 10% less. Hotel location is very convenient to Universal Studio, Santa Monica beach, LA China Town, Hollywood blvd, and others points of interests. Bathroom is too small to move around. Breakfast buffet is good; however, only one 4 slice toaster for use. We all need to line up and wait for at least 5 minutes for your toast/bagel to be […] ready :(. Devamı

For the price, the quality of the room can't be beat. The bed and pillows were superior. The air-conditioning system was excellent. The breakfast was appetizing. In other words, as a place to rest, I can find no faults.

Nice hotel. Very good price, great service, great location, excellent place to stay.

Only stayed one night, but for its purpose (business), this was a very nice stay. I had no problems and thought everything was fine with my stay here.

Hotel is comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is good. Internet isn't fast. Bad traffic LA in the morning.

Very Comfortable and the staff was great. It was conveniently located right off major interstate making it a quick trip to all the must see tourist attractions. Free Breakfast Buffet was awesome. Rooms and bathroom very neat and updated. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all friends and family - and a Great price!

I was satisfied with everything except that we were not notified in any way that the pool was not in working condition. Good thing we were not there with our children for a family vacation, it was more of a business trip with one child. No discount was given for this inconvience.

Vi kan varmt anbefale at benytte dette Holiday Inn. Værelserne var pæne og og rene.. Intet af beklage sig på der. Betjeningen var helt i top, meget servicemindet, og det var lige fra personalet i receptionen og til rengøringspersonalet.. Morgenmaden var meget meget lækker, og der var konstant opfyldning, og flere slags tilbehør vekslede fra morgen til […] morgen. Vores familie kan varmt varmt anbefale dette hotel. Dette ligger kun 10min kørsel til Universal Studios mv.. NB... Flere fastfood-spisesteder lige rundt om hotellet iøvrigt, hvis man måtte komme træt og sulten hjem fra den hektisk Freeway :-) Devamı

very good hotel , like each time I go there.... Good staff, and good breakfast. I recommend it!
