Holiday Inn San Antonio - Riverwalk - San Antonio

Very clean and friendly. Ill definitely be a returning guest. Its right smack in the middle of everything, everything in walking distance.

I stayed here for a conference. I didn't use many of the hotel facilities (restaurant, gym, etc.) so I can't rate those. Hotel interior and guest room were clean & quiet. The only negative I have is that access to the hotel from the Riverwalk was difficult and confusing. Elevator access requires you to go through a dimly lit, dirty hallway and wait […] a long time for an elevator that doesn't always come. By stairs you have to sort of meander around the back and walk right into the restaurant. Oh hi, diners - didn't mean to disturb you. Not bad enough for me not to recommend it, but there are lots of hotels to choose from w/ better access. Devamı

Not bad for the price! Close to everything downtown, only wished we had a mini fridge and microwave. Definitely recommend

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. We were not going to be in the room alot. But while we were in there, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

The staff was very unfriendly. We got a horrible view on the opposite side from the river overlooking the roof of the lower level. The room wasn't horrible but nothing special at the price I paid. Several other hotels are on the Riverwalk and are much nicer and closer to the main section with all the restaurants and bars. I would definately choose another […] hotel in the area. I've stayed at the Gunter Sheraton a block away and it was much nicer. Devamı

I loved the area,i enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly,helpful staff too! Will definately make this hotel an option for our next trip there!

Perfect and especially for the price.

The hotel was right on the Riverwalk, as advertised. It had a restaurant/bar inside the hotel and also had a thorough fitness center and pool. Room was comfortable, with a view, and we were about a 2-minute walk down the Riverwalk from all the restaurants and bars. No complaints.

Hotel, was very nice, but It took a couple of hours extra for our room to be ready it should have been ready at 1400 and it was after 1700, they where under staff that day. Once we got our room everything was great. would stay there again. very good, carry on and stuff

Well located but not much room cleanliness

Hotel is run down and could use some remodeling. The bathroom had long black hairs everywhere, even in the "clean" towels that were folded up. The extra money to overlook the River Walk wasn't worth it...you just overlook an old building that is falling apart. The air conditioner doesn't cool the room, it was very humid the entire night. I had a large pick up and the hotel was unable to accomidate parking, The directions and guidance to an of site to park was not very easy as the clerk was not too informed of where another parking garage was.

My over all stay was nice since I never talked to the hotel staff once I FINALLY got my room. I got there about a hour before check in to do a early check in to find out they were telling people they had to leave and go to the Holiday Inn Express up the road. Luckily I called earlier that day to confirm so they knew I was coming. It took them 2 and […] a half hours (after the original check in time 4pm) to get a room cleaned and to put me in there. I got a room my 640. 3 hours after being there. There were too long of lines, no one was happy. It wasnt that great of a experience, I will not stay there again but luckily I'm there so often I have a few other hotels to try before I've stayed in them all. Very good location for all activities on the Riverwalk.Room was very nice with balcony for view of Riverwalk.Could use small cabinet or counter in bathroom for essentials.Overall,we were very pleased with service and location.Parking was $18.00 for self park but comparible to all other hotels we checked.

The only major problem I had with my visit, is that when reserving a room on the website, details of the hotel indicated that rollaway beds were available, which is the reason I selected this particular hotel. We had three females and one male in our party and wanted the male to be able to have his own bed. When checking into the room, we were told […] that the room (a two double bed room) could not accomodate a rollaway bed due to fire code. I understand that, but in the future, it should be stated that certain rooms cannot accomodate the rollaway beds so that other accomodations can be made if needed. Devamı

We spent a girls' weekend at the Riverwalk. The hotel was great for the money. Rooms were comfortable and clean, location was perfect. The front desk was not at all helpful, but Sergio, our bell boy, concierge, valet was fantastic! He was extremely helpful and friendly! He became our "go-to" guy! The hotel was quiet and peaceful. This hotel is old needs to be remodled. The door to my bathroom looked like it had been chewed by a dog. The TV did not work and the list of channels was worng. I had to have maintanence come in and give me a new remote and it still did not work. Our experience with the hotel were very good,only thing we thought people staying at the hotel should have passes for the parking at a cheaper rate for for no charge.

This was in the perfect location. On the Riverwalk, but not the main part where all the restaurants are, so it was nice and quiet, yet it was less than a five-minute walk to the main part. The room was clean and comfortable, but nothing fancy. My only complaint would be that the TV did not have HD, but was an HD tv, so the picture wasn't great. Breakfast buffet is $12.95 for just your basic breakfast, no omelette made to your order or eggs made the way you prefer, Just scrambled. Anything else is considered extra. Next time I'll just eat down the street next time.

The hotel room was ok. The inn keep on the room needs a little work but it was ok.

We reserved a king. On check in they told us they sold out of kings and we ended up with queen. Would not have been a big deal had the room not appeared to be the maids crash pad. Stayed two nights last weekend for my wife's birthday. Rooms were small and felt old. Shower curtain had what looked like blood stains on them. The "view" that we paid extra for was not really a view. We also had breakfast in the restaurant and had a number of disappointments. After being seated, the host forgot to bring the water we asked for. After […] the waitress took our orders and brought us our food, we didn't see her again until she brought our bill. She never once asked how everthing was or if we needed anything else. In fact, we had to go flag someone else down during the meal to get more water. Although the staff was friendly and the location is convenient, I certainly expected more for the price we paid for our room. The next time we stay downtown we will definitely be trying a different hotel. Devamı

Hotel in need to update... great location, clean room.

Room were not clean beds were not made up. Stayed 2 nights and they did not clean room the second night eather. Top dresser drawer would not open. Had to repair myself. The lead maid was rude bad attitude. Im sorry we were very disapointed.

Nice Hotel, friendly staff. Only issue was the bathroom had old soap on the walls of the shower. More attention is needed to the bathroom cleaning. The staff was very accommodating. I would stay here again.

For the money was not worth it....The bed was awful and was not comfortable at all...it was so worn out....mildew all over shower it was so gross that I couldnt shower in it....location was not bad...but I will not be recommending this place....also the AC wasnt working well at all.....

location is excellent. pool is very small and surrounded by concrete walls. hotel was not clean-debris on floor in lobby and hallways. carpet seemed dirty.

The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was an unpleasant surprise was the cost of parking there. We didn't see any mention of that when we made the reservations.

I loved being able to go out the back entrance on you where on the river! My hole family went for a short weakened get away and all had a wonderful time.

Nice hotel. Very friendly / helpful staff. 3-4 blocks from Alamo and rivercenter mall. This normally wouldn't be a problem except it seems the San Antonio riverwalk area has turned into the beggers paradise. I think I got asked for money 10 times each way in those 3-4 blocks. Great price and location. The only thing that was not good was Sat. Morning around 4am the fire alarm went off and all the people in the hotel had to walk down the stairs and wait about 20 mintues until we could go back in. Then the next two days the garage elevator was out. Overall a good hotel and a good confortable room that is close to everything […] there in San Antonio. Devamı

Great stay! Very clean rooms...Friendly and helpful staff!

Room was a little small, along with the beds. I would have preferred queensize, but it was bearable. Great location to make the most of the riverwalk and surrounding activities. Enjoyed it immensely.

awesome access to river walk, staff great, rooms were nice and clean.. Only 1 discomfort was the price for parking ... it should be free or reduced for the customers staying in the hotel !!! We parked all 3 days and never used are vehicle out of the garage because everything was river walk accessible, but still had to pay for parking ??? Other than […] that the stay was GREAT !! Devamı

We enjoyed our stay. For the price, it's a great place to stay. Had a good time in the hotel whirlpool and service to the room was prompt. It is right on the Riverwalk!

We were given a handicap room with a queen bed. The room was small but still adequate. Had a lovely view of the Riverwalk from our balcony. My only issue was with the bathroom. There was minimal counter space as the sink was a single unit. There was a small square rolling cart with 3 small cupboard areas. I accidentally broken a drinking glass in the […] bathroom. I told them at the front desk so that the cleaning staff would be aware. When we came back to our room that evening I checked to make sure that the glass had been cleaned up. There was still small pieces of glass under this rolling cart & to my surprise ~ it looked like it had not been swept under in quite a while. That was just rather disturbing. We were paying quite a bit of money for this room, and they couldn't be bothered to thoroughly clean. Then to top it off, the hair dryer did not work. I was very glad at that point that I had brought mine with me. In all, we were happy with this hotel. I would recommend it to others. Devamı
