Generally hotel is as you wol expect fro a Crowne Plaza. Rooms good, bed comfortable and all in good condition. I would alway get a room overlooking the gardens as they are quieter then tose on th road. BIG NEGATIVE = they charge €22 per day for usig the internet whch in th day and age is ridiculous; even in the public areas. Why?

The staff is like it is in many big cities outside the US - sort of helpful but not that focused or friendly. We went to restaurant... seems like they had a hard time to manage 5 tables...

Pool is not operational with no notice. Rooms are small and AC did not work very well. Had problems with keys continuously needing to reactivated. Manager wanted to blame cell phones, but my wife did not have a cell phone and both cards were an issue. OK location, and most of the staff was really nice.

Overall I have no complaints other than actually paying for the internet. Its just ridiculous how hotels can charge what I pay for 2 months internet at home only for 24 hour access. Internet should be free, its like air!

the staff is totally unhelpful. they don't know anything and they don't intend to help at all. They don't seem to know / refuse to answer simple question like how a particular type of train ticket is used. They don't warn you in advance that the mini bar is computerized and you will be charged automatically when you remove any item from it. When I checked […] out, I had to stand in front of the reception for several minutes waiting for the two ladies behind the desk to finish off whatever they were doing with their computers before one of them had time to "entertain" me. The hotell is located about a 10min walk from the Hbf. On the way there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The only negative thing was the price of the parking.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We were welcomed by a very nice and friendly staff. The room was really nice and comfortable. Breakfast is served with a pretty big international buffet. One minus is the location. Although it is very close to the center it is not possible to walk to the old town or to the river. That would be too far away. The hotel is ok. Its situated nearby a bus station and it takes 10 min. to the city center. It is quiet, the entry is very appealing and the service is very good. We had some troubles with the room though, the aircondition did not work and still made sound from outside the room so i couldn't sleep. They tried to resolve the problem but it didn't help […] much, so i found a solution finally. The aircondition never worked (nor heating, nor cooling), in the bathroom the showercurtain had to be replaced as the former one smelledl which was done without problems. unfortunately the ventilation in the bathroom did not work (no windows) and it was quiet wet. the bathroom (toilet) was not completely clean. the room size is ok, the bathroom is bit small for 2 persons, but it works. service is very nice, breakfast was fantastic. Not a bad hotel. Maybe not for children as the pool is very small (picture on the website is quite deceiving) and the people were not shy about showing their bodies, all of their body. This hotel makes a big deal about the quality of sleep, and they live up to it. It has great pillows, sheets and pillow cases, and we sleep as good as at home. Everything else was great, but for the high quality of sleep, we will return.

The Crowne hotel is situated only 15 minutes walk from the main shoping areas of Hamburg and about 15 minutes from the main train station from which you can get a direct train to and from the airport (Green line S1 front three carriages) for 2.8 euros, they run evry 10 minutes. The hotel is in exellent condition and is a good 4 star + it is in a very […] safe area and within 500yards you are on the edge of the lake whch you can walk along into the city, Hamburg was very clean and safe especially around the harbour, shops and Eating places are in abundance, there ar several eating and drinking places along the lake bit expensive but good setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza, the rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean, the hotel is situated in a nice area, close to the water and only a 15 minute walk into the main area of the City and the staff were very helpful which made our whole stay a very enjoyable experience

Despite the clumsy mistake at reception, the peace full night sleep and good breakfast made up for the error. The breakfast service was very attentive and overall set up is quite pleasant. The location is more ideal for people who do not require all the highlights and hustle right outside. A nice 15 minute walk can easily bring you to the centre. 5月にベルリン、ブレーメンを経て当地に4泊しました。立地はもとより基本的にサービス内容はよいと思います。基本的にというのは、決してすべてが完全によかったというわけではないということを意味します。ドイツにいれば（ドイツだけではありませんけれど）、アジア人への差別を感じることは時々あります。クラウンプラザハンブルクでもそういうことがあったというだけです。特に利用客達にその色彩がありました。予約していたクイーンサイズのベッドの部屋は落ち着きがあり、清潔で気に入りました。1点、指摘したいことがあります。なぜかハンドタオルが補充されなかったことです。他のものはきちんと指示通り交換されていたのですが、1泊目に2枚あったハンドタオルは2泊目に2枚になり、3泊目と4泊目は0枚でした。部屋の鍵チェーン等が付い […] ていなくて、ドアに「必要なら申し出てください」と説明書きがあったので、チェックインしてすぐに、「フロントにドアに書いてあるとおり、セキュリティのため鍵チェーンがほしい」と言ったところ、フロントの女性スタッフは「私にはわからない」とまったく対応してくれませんでした。その時にホテルの質を見た気がしていたので、ハンドタオルのこともあえて申し出ることはしませんでしたが。 Devamı

Ett hotell som nog har varit väldigt fint en gång, men nu känns lite gammalt. Inget direkt fel i det förutom att det var förhållandevis dyrt med tanke på skick och service. Dessutom tog de betalt för turistskatt vid utcheckningen trots att det uttryckligen stod i bokningsbekräftelsen att den var inräknad i priset. Internet som alla hotell borde ha med […] i priset kostar 22€ per dygn vilket är på tok för dyrt, men å andra sidan verkar hotellet i första hand rikta sig mot företag och inte semesterresande. Unser Zimmer hatte nicht viel mit 4,5 Sternen zu tun. Haare in der Badewanne und im Bett, defekte Türgriffe, zerlegene Matratze, abgenutzter Teppich, verstopfter Waschbeckenabfluß und so weiter. Wir sind nicht pingelig aber für diese Kategorie schon fast unfasssbar.

Alt i alt var opholdet tilfredsstillende - dog kunne morgenmad og internet godt have været inkluderet i prisen. Dette kostede ialt Euro 44 for 2 parsoner.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war fast ausschließlich sehr freundlich, hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer/Bad war sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück hätte meines Erachtens ein bisschen mehr Wurst- und Käseauswahl bieten dürfen und ich persönlich mochte den heißen Kakao nicht so gern (ist aber sehr Geschmacksfrage!). Als ehemalige Hamburger haben wir das erste mal in dem Hotel übernachtet, es entsprach vollkommen unseren Wünschen.Wir waren zur 130 Jahrfeier des Bürgervereins in der Stadt , in den Jahren zuvor gab es ja mit dem HUBV viele Begegnungen, daher hatten wir schon immer viel Kontakt zu Ihrem Hotel.Weiter so und Tschüß

Wir waren als Paar für eine Übernachtung, da wir uns ROCKY - Das Musical angesehen haben. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind sehr sauber, leider ein alter Teppichboden, dafür ein modernes Bad. Gutes und großes Frühstück, was kaum einen Wunsch offen lässt. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist im oberen Drittel. Die Rezeption war freundlich und kompetent.

Zimmer OK, aber in der Lobby kaum Sitzgelegenheiten nur eine Couch und 2 Sessel d.h. aus dem Zimmer sofort raus. Restaurant unpersönlich an Sonntagen und Feiertagen geschlossenn auch am 1. Januar. Kings George ein Mix aus Bar und Coffee shop öffnet erst ab 11:00 Uhr. ist aber wie ein Restaurant eingedeckt. In näherer Umgebung kein Restaurant etc.
