The Saratoga Hilton - Saratoga Springs

Both the service and the quality of the hotel were disappointing. I was met by a rude check in clerk. The walls were very thin - could clearly hear hallway conversations from inside the room (stuffing towels under the door helped a little). The location of room was awful...past the laundry. People passing on the sidewalk had a direct view in to the […] room, so I had to close the blinds on a bright sunny day. Very disappointing. The tub area of the bathroom wasn't too clean. The room was nice and large, but the bathroom was extremely small. One had to move against the opposite wall in order to close the door. Bottom line: there are many more reaonably priced options in the area and next time I will go with one of those. Devamı

Besides the absolutely perfect location for walking to all sorts of shopping , and dining, and drinking the room had a warm welcoming feeling. .We did not have a frig or microwave in our room but had requested one when making reservation and when we asked for them on arrival.... it was there in record time!!! Also the hours for the indoor pool, fitness […] room, and hotel gift shop were very good also. Great place..........comfortable, reasonable, surroundings. Devamı

Fantastic beds and pillows. Room space is nice as well. Dusty room with multiple burnt out bulbs. Maintenance was efficient and pleasant. Lobby very short on atmosphere.

Booked a room for my b-day weekend and it was in a great location, very nice, friendly staff, and very affordable.

Great place to stay. I was on a Working Weekend @ the Attached Civic Center. I was on the lower Floor due to Health Issues of my Husband who was to join me. The Room was large,Clean & Confortable. Had a small issue with the Heat. Someone came right to the room. wanted to switch me to a different room, but i was Exhausted.... I said it would be OK until […] the AM. He came Back & Fixed It. This hotel, in my opinion, does not carry the name that is synonymous with Hilton Hotels. The lobby seems to be where all the money was invested. The 30 inch doorway to the room with a door handle that only worked in the up swing was the prelude to a tiny bathroom. The bath mat reached from the shower to the sink, with a toilet in between. The room […] was booked in advance for two adults but there were only two bath towels. We all know that women need both of them and that left me with two hand towels and three wash cloths to dry off with. The buttons on the remote for the tv were sticky and the the large screen flat panel seemed a waste with a grainy picture from the low signal 75 ohm cable wire.The heat/AC unit was pretty large, as it blocked the view, sitting in the window. With a multitude of hotels in the area, I will not be staying again at the Saratoga Hilton when I return this summer. Devamı

The staff and hotel were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the two areas of dissapointment for me were the television and Internet service provided. The TV was analog and the hotel's movie pay per view system didnt work, which meant that I was stuck watching a fuzzy program that I wasnt really interested in rather than ordering […] a movie. I then tried to use my laptop to access the Internet and found that "high speed Internet acess" was a misnomer. I grew frustrated at waiting for pages to load and simply turned everthing off and went to sleep. Nice hotel overall, but these issues should be corrected. Devamı

Excellent hotel for the entire family! Kids enjoyed swimming in the pool, family enjoyed time in our adjoining rooms!

Comfortable but decor gloomy and dark. Lighting poor too. Housekeeping pleasant but noisy in AM (8:30) during holiday week. Pool looked very nice. Did not have chance to use.

Great hotel. Location is close to town. You can walk to many restaurants and shops. Staff is very helpful and the hotel itself is very comfortable and well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

the few machines that are there are terrible, particularly the elliptical trainers, it is cramped, there is an incomplete set of free weights, and there are no fans. Completely unacceptable for a decent hotel at that price in a location with frequent bad weather.

Saratoga needs a good full service hotel. I thought Hilton could do this, but unfortunately not. The hotel is old and tired. It looks lost in the 80s. The linens were nice and room service was good. The design and layout of the room was odd and too large. Having to pay extra to park yourself is classless. I recommend the Gideon Putman for future st […] ays. Devamı

The bed at this hotel is out of this world comfortable. Everything was very clean. The rooms were very spacious. I enjoyed staying here very much and would recommend it to anyone. It is everything you can expect from a Hilton hotel. And the price was very reasonable.

Great hotel, very clean, well located, walking distance to restaurent. Even if the hotel is on a busy boulevard you can barely hear the traffic even when the A/C is off. The only negative comment is that the bathroom is very small..but very clean!!

service in the union grille was not great but food was good; they didn't have enough people working in the kitchen they said; walls very thin; could hear my neighbor too easily; fortunately it wasn't a big problem.

I was a little upset that you charge for parking. I would have thought that for what we paid for the room that would have been covered. I was more upset that when we registered we were given a voucher for a "complimentary breakfast." Nothing was said about it beiing a coupon for $10 off of breakfast. This was very tacky. Then the hot breakfast was cold. […] We were in a hurry so we just forced it down and left. It was 7:15. I don't think that is too late to get a hot breakfast. Devamı

Nothing fancy and perfect for just a place to sleep since there's so much to do in Saratoga.

Being on the main blvd was great! The staff was friendly and helpful for making reservations to various restuarants. As far as the racing in Saratoga...can't be beat!

The bed had problems and I can't imagin no one has complained in the past. Rooms were clean, contemporary, but no frig. The breakfast crowd must have surprised the staff because they were not ready for the rush, at 10:00 AM. Saratoga Springs is a lovely town, worth the trip.

I prepaid my bill and was not pleased to get a bill for $ 42 for parking on checkout day. I never paid for parking as a guest of the hotel before.

Everything was fine when we arrived but we realized the next day that the hotel had forgotten to give us our breakfast coupons that we were to receive for using hotels.com. We had already had our breakfast by then and the service at the hotel restaurant was terrible. The waitress kept us waiting for a long time after we were seated, then forgot part […] of our order, never returned with the missing item and ended up by keeping us waiting for over 15 minutes between our giving her our credit card and bringing back the receipt. By that time we were running late for an appointment and, when we got to the car, we couldn't get out of the lot. The parking access card they gave us, which had to be used for both entry and exit, did not work on the way out. We had to go back to the main desk along with several other people that couldn't get their cars out of the lot either. The only cards that seemed to work were the ones the valets were using. Needless to say we were late for our appointment and will not be staying at this hotel again. Devamı

Wonderful hotel. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Also within walking distance to Congress park. A ten minute drive to the race track.Shares the parking lot with The Old Bryan Inn a great place to go for dinner. Hotel very clean and would stay there again.

Hôtel was perfect. Nice clean large room. Staff super friendly. Hot deluxe breakfast buffet. -- L'hôtel était parfait. Grande chambre, très propre. Le personnel est très accueillant. Un petit déjeuner chaud deluxe!

Excelellent accomodations close to everything in Saratoga, would highly recommend.

The hotel was clean, had good amenities, conveniently located in town, and the staff was courteous. My main complaint is that they charged guests $10./day for parking.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again on a future visit to Saratoga. The location is ideal- right next to downtown so can easily walk to all the nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

The room was wonderful, but the bathroom was somewhat small. All hotels should have some counter space in the bathroom to place toiletries kits and makeup, etc. Also although we had paid for our parking at the front desk and had the ticket to get out, when we tried to use the ticket, the meter ate it and then charged us another $10 to exit! We flew in on friday for my best friends suprise 40th birthday party in Saratoga Spa State Park. We decided to stay at the Hilton due to the location and area surrounding the hotel. I grew up in the area and wanted to check out the sites again without having to drive. The hotel was in a perfect location to walk everywhere in the village and the ammenities […] we excellent!. The room was clean (for the most part), comfortable and very well stocked as far as towels and such. We were very happy that we stayed there. Only downside - the bathroom tub was not completely cleaned and there was hair from the previous occupants stuck to the wall. When we called the front desk to to have it cleaned again - no one showed up. I had to remove the hair myself. Devamı

The hotel is ideally located at one edge of the wonderful Saratoga Springs downtown area with North Broadway (the street leading to Skidmore College) on the other side, so it is A++ in terms of convenience. It is clean, updated and the breakfast was top notch.

We stayed here with our two year old and four year old and both the hotel and the town were very family-friendly. The room was a bit on the small side but the girls loved access to Nick and Disney channels and the bathtub was easy to navigate. They loved the pool which needed some skimming both times we went in. The charming town is literally at your […] door when you leave the hotel and we enjoyed several meals and the park and carousel without needing to load them in the car. Devamı
