Ramada University - Fresno

We specifically advised, we reserving, that we wanted two queen beds. We arrived at the hotel before checking time and had an event to get to. We were assured a room with two queen beds would be saved for us. When we checked in late afternoon we were told they only had king bed available. The hotel is old and tired looking. The room was large but with no wall hangings, pretty bland. The bathroom was tiny and poorly designed. The bar is closed on Sunday and the Continental breakfast was quite poor. I'd prefer a full restaurant for breakfast then I wouldn't have ended up at MacDonalds.

I spent a VERY sleepless night- I was in a room at the end of the building near an entrance/exit. Across from me was a whole group of guys partying and carrying on in the hallway and near the exit. I was afraid to call the desk because they would know it was me that called. Bed was very comfortable w many pillows. The only thing bad was the bathroom sink. It does not drain well n caused an inconvenience to our stay.

I have stayed at this hotel off and on for many years and it seems to stay about the same. For the price it is a good value. There are some non-working ice machines that I am sure will never be repaired. It seems like they are not as concerned with making it convenient for guests some distance from the working ice vending machines. If I was travelling […] with family I would not stay at this location, but for business travel it is adequate. The biggest perk is the Starbucks and Subway near the entrance. Devamı

The hotel is old and needs refurbishing. It is in a great location for fans visiting football games at Fresno State.

Ramada Fresno needs a face lift in a big way. Everything from the decor, TV, wallpaper, condition of the room needs a freshing. Customer service was excellent and comfort of bed was OK, everything else needs serious improvements.

stayed for a week in fresno in mid november. it was hard to find someone at the front desk. im not sure if they were just understaffed or the front desk people were fooling around. when they did finally show themselves, they were very helpfull.

Hotel located near Fashion Fair mall, restaurants, banks. Pleasant staff, easy check-in; nice, clean room. Air conditioning unit loud and air circulation caught in drapery, otherwise all good.

I've had back surgery going up stairs isn't my specialty anymore. Thanks for having the staff that has the vision to help those with special needs.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only thing missing from our room that we needed was a refrigerator. Luckily our friends traveling with us had one in their room that we were able to store our medications in.

We were less than satisfied with the service, condition of the halls, room and very dirty carpets. The room smelled and we would not recommend the Ramada Inn at University in Fresno, Ca. Sorry, We never complain but this time we did.

The buildings are getting pretty run down. They hold receptions next to the pool and that gets very noisy at times. Grounds are not in grate shape.

Room was clean, room was dark, needed more lights, would have liked a room safe and refrigerator.

My wife and I stayed one night on our way to Yosemite. The hotel is just off of Highway 41, 90 minutes south of the Yosemite South entrance. We toured Fresno State U just for fun (a couple miles down the road) and went to a Fresno Grizzlies 3A baseball game (also nearby). Although it was 95 degrees out, the large, clean pool and the a/c in the room […] kept us quite cool. beds, towels, bath, tv, all typical, good working order, clean. Plenty of parking. We ate in the restaurant/bar. Food was good, people we very friendly. Jessie at the front desk was able to answer any question we had about where to shop for supplies, camping, how to get to the ballpark etc. Overall very convenient and would stay there again. Devamı

We needed a place to shower and grab a nap before our 12 hour drive back home following our youngest daughters wedding. The beds were comfortable, It was surprisingly quiet for a busy street/intersection of town. great for the price. Pool was closed my entire stay! I was a little annoyed at that, considering it was only supposed to be closed for the day.

The room was nice and comfortable and the people were nice and the lobby was quite impressive. One glitch: the fold out couch's mattress was so thin, the metal rods could be felt and were uncomfortable.

It was fine for the price. Ramada Inns generally provide the basics and the hotel staff were very nice. The hotel also had a bar which was nice after a long drive. Unfortunately, there was a drunken businessman who was carping about the Government and the rest of us in the bar just wanted to enjoy our drinks and keep things light! On our way out of Yosemite and back home to Boston we stayed overnight in Fresno to catch an early flight. We got a great right on Hotels.com for the Ramada Inn and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful courtyard, superb customer service at the front desk and comfort of the room. It was a great last night spent reading by the pool surrounded by […] beautiful flowers. Would recommend as an inexpensive and comfortable choice. It was nice to be close to many restaurants as well. Not a bad Hotel for the price. It could use some updating on the outside doors and walkways, but overall a good buy. Nice BIG pool area.

Enter room at 10:00pm at night and found a half full drink cup on floor. The next day when we returned to room at 7:00pm it had not been touched. They said we had do not disturb sign out but that was not true - it was still on back of door. No elevator for second floor - no air conditioing in hallways Free breakfast was a joke. At first glance, the hotel does not look attractive, however you really should not judge this book by its cover! When you enter your room, you will find a very comfortable bed, and a great tub. Hotel staff is very friendly.

worst breakfast ever, wonderful pool area

The staff was very friendly. We were suprised that a continental breakfast was included. Rate was very reasonable.

I was very impressed by the room till I went to lay down and smell the pillow. It smelled like a woman's perfume and when I called to get a fresh pillow case I was left waiting till i finally had to leave. I slept with a towel on the pillow. The toilet was also to close to the door. Other than the 2 mentioned incidents my stay was very pleasant.
