Marriott LaGuardia Airport - East Elmhurst

The staff at this hotel were the best part! I'm from Cleveland and came for my first time just for New Year's and they were so helpful with my million questions! The rooms were clean also!

We rented seven rooms for a group of friends and family for New Years Eve. This was our second New Year's Eve at this Marriot. It's an older hotel but very well maintained and clean. I was disappointed that the rooms did not have free wi-fi. Also, no complimentary breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff was very accommodating, and polite.

Great experience with a friendly staff and allowed late check out with no attitude or questions.

We had a bad experience with a cab and the Hotel manager Russell took care of the problem right away. He is an asset to Marriott.

While it is not near most NYC tourist hot-spots staff was very helpful in providing information for intercity travel. The room was very nice. My daughter who lives in the city stayed with me at the hotel and this made it very convenient for us. My room had two great comfortable beds, a great view of the airport and water. Very nice hotel, excellent service. Shuttle service to the airport is timely and reliable, every 15 minutes as they promised. I stayed here because I had an early flight from LGA and would recommend it again for business travel. You'd have to take the shuttle to the airport to catch a taxi, but they do have a car service on call, and they charged a […] flat rate to Manhattan. Devamı

The hotel staff was exceptional at all levels. The rooms were clean and we found the location to be ideal for trips into the major boroughs as well as Manhattan. The only inprovement that I would recommend would be to add new equipment to the gym.

Great location from airport. Right across the street. NY fire code prohibits cots or extra beds in a double room

My stay in this hotel was a great experience! The Staff was very professional and very helpful and friendly. I can recommend this hotel anytime to anyone. The breakfast is also great. A variety of choices. The only issue for me was it was a bit too far from the New York City, Otherwise it was a very comfortalbe and nice stay

The hotel was very nice and very close to the airport. My girlfriend called just as she exited the airport and within minutes I was able to pick her up in time. She too agreed that the room was very nice and clean and she slept very well.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was convenient to the bus system across the street that took us to the subway stop. Staff were helpful.

My husband always love to stay at Marriott Laguardia airport . And I agree to him every time but in this matter we both believe that if you want good, clean, not making you home sick environment is available only at Marriott. The peacefull environment, good neighborhood, peace of mind what else can you ask for to really enjoy your vacation.

Nothing around the hotel within even remote walking distance. No neighborhood bar, have to use the expensive one in the hotel. No alternative places to eat, have to use expensive one in hotel. Nothing to do around there. That said, it is an ideal place to stay if you are connecting with other travel plans. Airport is stones throw away, and shuttle runs […] every 15 minutes or so. Devamı

Very nice place, clean, nicely decorated rooms. Front desk people were not helpful. It was not easy to get into Manhattan for my meeting. Airport shuttle was handy and frequent.

My trip was great, so it is hard to say anything negative, but I will say that the A/C was not working like it should. I never told them the problem because I was hardly there, so I can't say much on that. The rates were okay for it being NYC. I will say that last minute rates seem cheaper than planing ahead. You can walk from the airport (Terminal […] C I believe) to the hotel with out problems. Believe me, it is not worth taking a cab. It is that close. Besides, if you don't wan to walk (first of all you have no busness in NYC because you have to walk for everything), the hotel does provide a shuttle. Staff is 100% GREAT. The room was very clean, roomy & quiet even though it is near LaGuardia Airport. (request a room on the other side of the highway). The hotel staff was great and the "Stay for Breakfast" rate was very reasonable. My husband enjoyed the "eggs cooked to order" on the buffet & everything was delicious. Make sure to not face the airport and the highway as this is quite noisy.

Excellent service, wonderful bed, and room. Can not say enough good about the quality and service...Would stay over and over again!

hotel staff was not friendly

Receptionist not very accommodating, have to ask about the promotional items that were included in my reservation, told me not included but good thing I have my printed reservation receipt that spells out what's included in my reservation. I feel like I have to fight for it.

For the price we got for this hotel we thought it was a steal until we got to the hotel only to find out that we had to pay a substantial daily charge for parking. Our guests were also charged for parking! The room was cramped but well maintained. It would have been fine for a business traveler or a couple, but not for a family with a child. Another […] unexpected charge was for the use of WiFi (which was not actually WiFi because you needed to be connected to a wire which only reached the desk) also a substantial daily charge which is customarily provided for free. Overall, after all of the extra daily charges we could have stayed at a better hotel with many more ammenities included for much less money. Devamı

The hotel did not offer a pool although it was listed on web site which was a major reason we selected this location. Also because we have a small child we attempted to order from the restaurant downstairs over the phone for pickup but was told we had to go downstairs to place order. We were then told after we were ignored by an employee that the food […] we requested was not described as listed in the menu guide in room causing us to drive to a local fast food chain to feed our small picky eater. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The decor makes you feel right at home. The beds are very comfy and cozy and it's good to see that the hotel is very conscientious about energy efficiency. I felt particularly pleased that I was able to check in to my room before the normal scheduled time of 3:00 PM which allowed me to rest and prepare for […] my business appointments. And thank goodness, the elevators operated well, which is no small matter when and if you're in a hurry. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you need for getting online and for charging all of your electrical devices. And since it's only a few minutes from midtown, there's no need to pay the super high rates if you're only going to be visiting for one day. The airport shuttle service operated on time and is free. This convenience is one of the reasons I chose to book myself and my colleagues at this hotel. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others. Devamı

Parking not included, surprise that you need to pay 14% of room cost just for parking, it seems that paying in cash is a problem
