Marriott Key Bridge - Arlington

The hotel was Great! Very clean, wonderful frendly staff, room very nice, but the best thing was the beds. Haven't had a better night sleep in a long time! If you ever want to feel like you are sleeping on a cloud stay there. Will be staying there on my next trip to DC.

Nice hotel. Rooms were a little small. But the breakfast was terrible. Not worth $2.00 let alone $17.00 each that we paid.

This hotel is nicely located to the subway with easy access to Washington DC and surrounding touring areas. There is a Starbucks and McDonalds nearby. However, we encountered some issues with getting the room and necessities requested. We booked a room at this hotel about 5 or 6 months ago and requested a river view and a refrigerator. When we got to […] our room, our room did not have a refrigerator and the view from the room was the rooftop of one of their other buildings in the courtryard and across other hotel room windows and doors. We were extremely disappointed by the choice of room. Because we were spending 5 days and 4 nights in this hotel, we decided to request another room. After talking to several people, including a manager and a few phone calls, we were able to get another room on the second day of our stay. Unfortunately this came with much frustration and some lack of follow through by hotel staff. Therefore, we are not sure if we would recommend this hotel to others to avoid similar issues and frustrations. Our second room was very nice, with a beautiful view of the Potomac River and the Monument. We recommend that if you chose this hotel and wish a river view, that you be aware that issues may arise. We attempted to be proactive by calling the night before our stay to confirm our stay and choice of room. Despite this however, we still encountered said issues. Devamı

We travel to D.C. often and this is the second time we have stayed at the Marriott Key Bridge. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is just a short walk to Georgetown and the subway to take you to all the museums in D.C. We plan on staying at this hotel again upon returning to D.C.

Great breakfast! All you need to eat and more. Was disappointed having to pay $19.00 per day for parking as I parked in the handicapped parking outside. If I use hotel again in the future, I will park at my son's condo which is a short walk away. The walk will do me well particularly after eating breakfast. Very reasonably priced. I had a spectacular room that overlooked the Potomac-received an upgrade. It was fabulous!! The location is near the Metro so you can get anywhere in DC. the only drawback was that the mattress was not spectacular.....however I slept just fine. Again, it was well worth the price and I have stayed in several hotels in DC.

Overall, a nice hotel. Some rooms had great views of the Potomac River. The only negatives were that we did not have a fridge, and our phones did not work. We told the front desk and they said we should be able to call the front desk at least, but we could not. Great showers.

My wife and I, we have been to this Marriott Hotel 3 times. It is very close to all the must see sights in DC. The service is excellent and the food at the restaurant is very good. They have a very friendly and knowledgeagble staff, ready to please, with big smiles and dispostion out of this world. The view is fantastic if you get a room overlooking […] the river. The only thing we did not particularly care about is the firmness of the bed. They need to provide one of those gismos allowing patrons to adjust the bed firmness. Most comfortable bed EVER....however, no wireless in the room, no extra's - very basic room - nice enough bt I expected more from Marriott - I usuallyy stay at Marriotts because they have a fridge, wireless etc....this was either really old or just a basic marriott!! They had internet available for $12 but you HAD to site at the desk and use the wire […] - blah!!! After travelling I want to be able to sit on the bed! Devamı

The room was far too hot when we returned to room at 1am...turned thermostat down to 60--no effect...office said they would send someone around 2am but we decided to attempt tp go to sleep; slept poorly

As the manager explained to us - it is not a ''piano in the middle of the hotel, modern hotel'' but it is very nice and good for the money.

Staying in hotels in Georgetown can be a bit pricey, especially in these times we live in. We have stayed in this location twice now and find it very convenient for our visits to the Georgetown area of DC. It is only a 5-10 walk over the Key Bridge or a $5-$10 cab ride. The hotel clearly couldn't handle the number of people who came for the marathon. When we checked in, our bathroom hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest, and it took them about a half hour to send someone up to clean it. Even after that, the shower didn't drain we were left showering in tub full of water. The room itself was small and cramped […] and didn't even offer amenities like a safe. It's possible when there isn't a big event going on, they're better, but I was incredibly disappointed during this stay. Definitely won't be staying there again. Devamı

Be wary that if your room with a balcony is on the Potomac RIver side, there is a parking lot down below that is not owned by the hotel. They park the municipal buses there and on Sunday at about 7:30am they power wash all the buses. It is very noisy for hotel guests trying to sleep.

The hotel room and lobby was ok, but the gym and pool facilites were absolutely terrible. The change room, weight room, sauna, and lockers were very bad. The staff did a decent job on our room, but you could hear them in the hallways being loud and complaining about there jobs constantly. The stairways were very dirty and I saw the same beer bottles […] and cigarette packs for three days in a row. Devamı

The prices were excellent considering the 8 to10 min. drive to the night life as well as the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. The staff was great, all were helpful and eager to make our stay as worry free as possible.

Room wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but the hotel is in a good location and was much cheaper than the hotels located right in the middle of DC and was close to the Metro. The lobby restaurant was pretty expensive, but the breakfast buffett was good. The ice machine right outside our room wasn't working so I had to go to another floor each time […] to get ice. The biggest problem was the ridiculously small bathroom. The bathroom was so small that you have to squeeze between the toilet and sink just to be able to shut the door and the ceiling was very low. It's like the room we were in was an afterthought and they decided to squeeze in a couple more rooms on the floor. I didn't complain so not sure if the staff would or could have given us a different room. The room did have a great view though. Would probably try another competitor in the same area if we go there again. The very small bathroom was not what I would normally expect from a Marriott hotel. Devamı

Motel was very centrally located to all Wash DC sights and within walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel had various suggested locations and restaurants for your selection. Personnel was all very helpful and offered assistance with any questions.

Fantastic hotel, very helpful staff and wonderful food!

We had a little trouble related to the receptionist, but we talked to the manager and she was very undestanding of our complain and void our parking fees for the two days we were at the hotel. It was very nice of her to do that. Thanks.

hotel was just OK. exhaust in bath didnt work well at all. wife had a hard time drying hair. She has crossed Marriott off on our next stay in arlington No place to park unless you want to pay $19/day. No weekend paper. I didnt feel like I was staying at a Marriott, but rather a smaller less expensive hotel.

Great hotel and very professional staff. Pool was great and lifeguards were very attentative and alert with the children/people at all times

We booked a room with a rollaway bed, hypo allergenic linens, and refrigerator. The room did not have any of the above when we checked in. Bath tub would not hold water, but maintenance quick to repair. Lots of airplane noise as jets pass directly over the hotel from Reagan airport. Hotel staff friendly and eager to correct errors. Very convenient location near Georgetown. We stay there when visiting our daughter. Love the parking garage and restaurants/coffee shop makes staying onsight convenient. Indoor and outdoor pool and decent fitness center. Only complaint is they charge for internet in the room. 5 minute walk to Roslynn metro station if needed.

This is a very nice hotel. Great location, a short walk to M Street, with a lot of choices for shopping and restaurant. The Bellman was extremely nice. The breakfast was great and the waitress was very friendly and made good recommendations on our choice. One thing negative was the internet. It was very slow. Although my booking stated free wireless […] internet, it DID NOT mean it was free. It only meant that the wireless internet was available in the Lobby only (noti n the guest room). There was a charge per day for internet use in the guest room which you may get it free from a lot of hotels surrounding that area. Devamı

First, we booked a room with two doubles and requested a refrigerator. When we arrived, all they had was a room with only one king size, so my six foot tall son had to sleep on a small rollaway cot in a very tight room. Next day they moved us to a room with two doubles, but it was on the first floor right near the lobby telephones and there was a constant […] stream of guests using those phones at all hours of the day and night. The sound bounced off all that nice looking tile and right into our room. The bathrooms are tight with very low ceilings and our toilet sometimes flushed immediately and sometimes would run for minutes. The whirlpool was supposedly open until 11pm according to the sign on the door, but when we arrived at 10:40 for a short dip, the young and rather arrogant lifeguard gave us that "what are you doing here now" look and told that she was closing up because it was getting close to 11pm. Parking was supposed to be $17.95 per day and we were charged $19. Little things like that are not a big deal on their own, but when they add up, it becomes annoying. Oh, and despite two additional calls to the front desk, we never received our refrigerator. We'll stay at the Holiday Inn across the street next time. Devamı

We reserved a room with two double beds and on arriving they said this was not guaranteed and we were given a room with one king bed (for four people) They were not at all apologetic and said they could send up a roll away bed. The room was so small the only place to put the roll away was in the middle of the walk way so we had to climb over the bed […] to get to the rest room. They charge for parking was $19 a day, more than the website when we made our reservation had said it would be. After we parked in the garage on the second level, which was the first available spot, we found that the only way back into the hotel was by stairs. We still had our luggage so this was very inconvenient and definitely something I think they should have mentioned. The room smelled very strongly of smoke even though it was a none smoking room and every room we passed in the hall also stated that it was a non smoking room. I would also say to avoid the room service, it is very expensive and definitely not worth the price. The $9 dollar kids meals had more food than the more pricey adult meal and the quality was better for the kids meal as well. My meal was bland at best, too bad for the amount they charge, I could have gotten better food at a fast food restaurant with a much smaller price tag. Overall, a huge disappointment in an otherwise fun trip to Washington DC. Devamı

Very satisfying stay at the Marriott Key Bridge. A diverse clientele and nice staff. Concierge-- assumed we knew the Key Bridge is literally right at the base of the hotel-- I drove three miles in the other direction looking for it. Duh. But, if you don't know-- you don't know. Wonderful stay and will go again.

Hotel has a very modern contemporary feel as far as the interior. Exterior on the other hand not so much but from what I understand this the Key Bridge location is the very first Marriot ever so that's probably to be expected. Great restaurants, amazing breakfast and extremely polite and courteous customer service. I would recommend upgrading reservation […] to include breakfast. One complaint I have is that the rooms do not have wireless and the hardwired internet that is in the room costs $12.95 per day. Devamı

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the Metro and Georgetown, close to Arlington Cemetery and all the DC monuments. The rooms are very small but the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff is a bit surly. I will definitely stay there again, but the stay will be more informed.
