The hotel was fine, but the rooms were pretty small. We had a room with 2 queens, and the walking space in the room was very cramped. Also, we booked for 4 people and only got 2 towels. We had to go to the pool to get more towels. The breakfast was delicious, but the package description on Hotels.com was misleading. The title of the package was "hotel […] room with breakfast." The included breakfast was only for a maximum of 2 people (even though I booked for 4). The breakfast buffet was an additional $20 per person for 3 days. I didn't find out until we check out!!! I DROVE UP FROM NY TO CELEBRATE MY HUSBAND'S 40TH. OUR ROOM WAS ON THE SAME FLOOR AS THE POOL. THE NOISE WAS KIND OF EXPECTED. THE CLEANING PEOPLE WERE SOO LOUD BANGING AND YELLING. LETS NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE MUSKY ODOR OF THE ROOM. I KEPT MY SOCKS ON AT ALL TIMES AND WHEN I CAME OUT THE SHOWER I PLACED A TOWEL ON THE FLOOR SO THAT I COULD STAND. […] I HAVE STAYED AT PLENTY OF MARRIOTS BUT THIS ONE WAS JUST NASTY! Devamı

Nice fucntional hotel, the staff were helpful and the food at the restaurant was above average. The pool/fitness area is nice too.

Six of us had to be in Boston on fairly short notice... the Boston Marriott in Newton worked out wonderfully for us. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The commute into Boston was a breeze.

Very close to highway but surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Beautiful lake view from both the rooms we stayed. Can see highway I-95 far beyond the lake, which was very helpful in monitoring the traffic before we hit the road. Very easy and fast drive to Cambridge or downtown Boston. Close to some colleges we would like to visit too. Front desk is friendly […] and professional. No microwave available though even upon request. Would definitely stay again if needed. Devamı

They charge an additional fee a night for parking. Hotel is in a residential neighborhood with a huge parking lot. Ridiculous!

This is the only hotel will stay every time when we come up to visiting our relatives, the location is great, very convenience, and love the lake view from our window, my 3-y-o son loves to see and count how many swans in there. The cleanliness of the room wasn't as good as before, when we asked for extra blanket for my son because the one we had with […] some of little hairs on(left a note on table with tips) they didn't change nor leave extra one, we came back very late at night and tired, just want to wash up and go to bed, didn't bother to call for housekeeping for it. I understand they probably just being very busy with holidays' crowd, I will still come back to this hotel, like 3~4 times a year! Devamı

We had problems with refrigerator as well as TV. The fix or repairs were late or non-existent.

Overall Hotel & Restaurant Service: Good to excellent Room comfort OK (it’s a Marriott not a Westin) Breakfast was a stampede over the Thanksgiving Holiday and mediocre quality, especially for the price.

Hotel was nice and up to Marriott standards, no problems except for one. The hotel did not have the NFL channel, and for a key Thursday night game when I just wanted to relax in my room and watch the game, I had to go sit in a noisy bar. Very unhappy, especially since they carried about 20 other very dumb cable channels instead of the NFL network. Won't […] stay there again. Devamı

i've stayed in this hotel a number of times while participating in sporting events in boston - great hotel always reliable, rooms are clean and well maintained, hotel staff is always friendly. its my go to hotel!

Stayed at the Newton Boston Marriot for 3-nights. Service was great, very friendly check-in staff and General Manger. Hotel was confortable, Clean and Safe. drive into the city each morning was managable. Food at the Hotel was very good, local fair and upscale dining options.

We drove from MN to take our daughter to start her freshman year at a nearby college. The room was comfortable and quiet. The concierge gave us easy driving directions that were quicker than the online map directions, and gave us great dinner recommendations. There was an onsite Starbucks, which was nice since the only other breakfast option was the […] hotel restaurant and we did not want to spend the time with that. Good fitness center. The only issue we had was that in a room with 2 double beds, they only left wash cloths and bath towels for 2. No problem getting more, just thought they should have enough for all possible guests to start with. Internet was wireless--free in the lobby, but a charge in the room :( We chose to let our daughter get in room access on her laptop and we went to the lobby for ours. A hassle, but with smart phones, not too much of a problem. This was an excellent hotel and a really good value. I will stay here again and would recommend it to others. Devamı

The property was attractive but very poor sound isolation plus rude noisy people (some kind of dance convention going on) made for little sleep the first night. Once the bozos left it was much nicer.

Excellent deal for the price, with great rooms, courteous service, and superb restaurant service. Highly recommend for great value.

Pretty good hotel overall. I picked here cause it was less expensive than down town. The drive wasn't far, but man have a GPS!!!! Navigating Boston is kinda hard!! Staff was helpful and informative as well

We would go back again

I reserved three rooms for my family, but all three were separated. and also the gentlman who worked in front dest, he asked me to pay parking space fee $9.00 per each vehicle. I really don't understant that it is not NY city and this is first time experience with marriott. I refused to pay, and then he told me he can waved it... I don't get it...

Breakfast is good. Front desk staff is nice and helpful. Quiet and clean.

The hotel is located in the periphery of the city. It is not close to any point except perfect access to the main highways. The location is serene and w beautiful views of the river, so it is the wrong hotel for the city reveler. The front desk is courteous, efficient, and very helpful. We will definitely go back.

The hotel itself seems very nice when you first walk in. Its lobby is relatively new looking and it is right on the river so you can see people kayaking and canoeing. The scenery itself may be an A+ but the rooms sucked. The hotel layout is very confusing which may be because it is an older hotel. The room felt damp when we walked in and the AC was […] obviously dated because it was very very loud and didn't seem to be able to keep a constant temperature in the room (as it was always either too hot or too cold). There was a moth flying around in the room. It was also very cramped and the bathroom was TINY. Which made showering very uncomfortable because there was no fan mechanism in the tiny bathroom to take care of the shower steam. The wall paper above the bathroom mirror was curling and ripping (no doubt due to the fact that the bathroom had no fan). There was no refrigerator. and even the bottle of water that they left in the room for us cost $3.50 (really? you can't even afford to comp one water bottle per room?) the WIFI is not free in the room. The parking is not free. It cost me 18 dollars to park at the hotel. all in all i give the place an F. Not THE worst hotel I've stayed in but def one of the worst. Devamı

This hotel is very convenient for professionals, who attending for a courses at wesley Boston Hospital, for Harvard School. It is a good rapport quality and price. I recommended.

Lovely hotel - clean, elegant, great buffet. Service was fine - check in and out was smooth and uneventful. Only issue was the 30 minute wait for breakfast on Saturday. Otherwise, totally recommend this hotel.
