JW Marriott Camelback Inn Scottsdale Resort & Spa - Paradise Valley

THE perfect place to stay in Phoenix/Scottsdale! Close to everything...hiking, shopping, restaurants. Plenty to do in the resort including a great pool, nightly firepits, outdoor music and fantastic restaurants. Highly recommended!

We had a great time staying at this hotel. Our room was very nice and the property is beautiful. The staff was awesome...front desk, servers, housekeeping. All were extremely helpful.

Unfortunately, this flagship Marriott property underwent millions of dollars in renovations but still has the old dirty hotel feeling. Staff is unfriendly and odd. Training to have staff simply greet guests might be a good idea. The restaurant on site BLT Steak also fit in with the hotel. Room, public spaces and service were first rate. One difficulty was that the "separate seating area and wetbar" promised in the hotels.com listing for the room we chose was not forthcoming. Benjamin at the front desk said, patronizingly, that the two chairs and table next to the bed (as is commonly found in most hotel rooms) constituted the "separate […] seating area" (?!) and that "Expedia" must have made an error. He offered only a suite at the usual additional cost. An inquiry with another person at the front desk upon checkout indicated that there were such rooms. Apart from the initial disappointment at not getting the room we expected, (and the very high breakfast prices typical of Marriott-class hotels) this was an excellent stay. Devamı

I booked the resort due to a golf package. I knew the resort would be quality just because it's a JW Marriott and it was outstanding - and the service was also excellent. The Camelback Golf was also very and the staff was terriffic. I look forward to going back again!

I never care to give reviews however this place deserves it! From the moment we pulled in the driveway we knew we didn't make a mistake. There is such a calming serenity everywhere you look. It's hard to explain unless you have been here. The layout of this resort makes you feel like you are the only one there. This trip was very important to my wife […] and I. We have not had a vacation alone since the birth of our daughter 9 years ago. We could not be any happier. We WILL be back. Hopefully sooner than later. Thank you for having an amazing resort!!! Excellent hotel. Beautiful environment very well maintained. Require a car though as it is located a bit remorse. Pool area great.

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in the last 5 years! It is beautiful, clean, calm, peaceful, and the staff were as helpful as could be to all the guests. We will return to the hotel in the cooler weather this fall.

The hotel/room is beautiful, staff is friendly and the grounds are filled with wildlife. It was a wonderful experience.

This was a great place for my husband and I - Scottsdale locals - to get away without the hassle of flying! The Inn still retains much of it's old time charm and the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We spent 2 days at the spa pool, each receiving a spa treatment, and it was heavenly. The spa is first class and the pool area and cabanas […] are lovely and relaxing. A great way to deal with the Arizona Monsoon. We plan to go back yearly! Devamı

I love this hotel because of its "old school" charm. The views are amazing!! Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating!! The only bad thing I can say about this hotel is the restaurant BLT was AWEFUL!!! Ranked one of the best steak houses, my medium rare steak was burnt!! over priced!! Would never go again!!! ]

Beautiful property! Casitas are comfortable and spacious. Bathroom is adaquate but could use a bit of a face lift but very clean and great condition. The pool tends to get overcrowded Thurs. - Sun. with alot of kids. It would be nice if they would offer the Spa's pool free of charge to those staying on the property without young children when there […] are no seats available at the pool. Luxury as expected for those who do nt count money...Nice hotel and service, small pool, nice breakfast buffet, every thing is pricy. Mediocere facial at the spa, but the spa facility is impressive.

We just loved it. The area is gorgeous. Facility beautiful. Room lovel. Great view. Breakfast buffet wonderdul. Just loved it. It's a little pricey with all the a la carts, but save for it. It's worth it. They should provide free coffee in the AM, but otherwise it's great!

Our stay was wonderful. As it turned out we were able to have a room before 4PM. Since we were there for the Debutante Ball and had to be ready by 4:45 for pictures it could have been a big problem. Your staff was very accomodating. Thank you.

We highly recommend the Camelback Inn. My family had a wonderful stay in the 2 bedroom suite. The hotel grounds are immaculate and the service is very attentive.

Previously stayed at this location 7 years ago and thought it needed a refreshing then. Was told they had refurbished recently, but found that not the case. Rooms were musty, decor very dated, bathrooms inadequate. Grounds are beautiful....time to get rooms updated!

This is a wonderful resort. Plenty to do, food is fabulous and the staff was wonderful.

My mom and I stayed for one night. I flew in early that day and we were able to check in early which was nice. The girl at the front desk was very sweet. The resort is very beautifully landscaped and the views are lovely. We went to the pool right before sunset and even though the lady who serves food and drink in the area was closing up she happily […] went and grabbed us two cocktails before closing (they were delightful). The next day I went to the spa for the Camelback Signature Massage. I went early to enjoy all that the spa had to offer before my massage. It was lovely and the staff is very professional. The massage was top notch. The room was cool, clean and comfortable. I will go back again for a longer stay. The spa is a real bargain because you can purchase a one hour service and enjoy the spa for the whole day. Devamı

Even in the heat of summer, this place was great! Sitting by the pool was topped off with hourly "cool-off" items such as frozen grapes, sample slushies, strawberries or frozen towels. You don't get the hotel feel since the rooms are divided like mini condo complexes with plenty of parking for each. The rooms are spacious and they all have a little […] kitchen area so you can bring leftovers back from the many restaurants in the nearby Scottsdale area or in the hotel itself. Devamı

This hotel, nuzzled in hills of AZ, is one of the most awesome places we have ever stayed. The rooms are beautiful, as are the grounds. The food is wonderful. Well worth the stay.

Everything one could ask for in a premium resort hotel. We plan to return soon and stay longer!

The room was very nice and decorated in a southwest contemporary theme. It was unlike many hotels in that the rooms were clustered at 10 at a time in casita style buildings. Ett fantastikts fint hotell som vi besökt flera gånger. Rummen är mycket bra ch det finns ett väldigt finns poolområde. Detta kan vi verkligen rekommendera.

Sehr gepflegte, schöne Anlage mit x-verschiedenen Kakteenarten und frei herumlaufenden Zwerghasen! Während unseres Aufenthalts (Mitte Juli 2010) wenig Leute. Ein Hotel zum "relaxen", keine Aktivitäten. Ausgezeichnetes, wenn auch nicht ganz billiges Morgenbuffet!
