We traveled to London in early December to experience the season. We were not disappointed. What made our journey all the more special was the location of our fine hotel in Mayfair. We were within walking distance of Oxford Street and the Bond Street Underground which made getting around London convenient and enjoyable. Location great. Rooms a bit small and bathroom needs updating but overall very nice. Room service menu could be a lot better.

I am in London a few times a year on business and have stayed in a number of hotels over the last few years. By far the best service and quality of room was here. Front desk staff went out of their way to make me feel at home.

We recently stayed at the Millenium Mayfair with our 7-year old daughter. The location was perfect and the surrounding neighborhood was gorgeous. The staff as the hotel were extremely helpful, the food was excellent and our room well maintained. If visiting with children, I highly recommend signing up for their Children's Conceirge program. Upon arrival […] our daughter was greated by a teddy bear from Hamsley's toy store dressed as a Guardsman, jelly beans, and kid-sized robe and slippers. Room service called shortly after we arrived to see if she would like some ice cream. She felt like princess! We are already planning our return visit to London and the Millennium! Devamı

this was the fourth time we have stayed here so it must be good as we are not easy to please does that say enough

My second stay at this property! Was great to be near shops....all were having major sales! Great pub around the corner for fish and chips. They need to work on free wifi - the only drawback to the property!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 31/12/11 and 1/1/12 bed and breakfast. What a lovely hotel this was. Pristine clean throughout, but my best comments go to the very friendly and obliging staff, both in reception and the breakfast room. Well done, because having stayed at other London Hotels, we have both said we will return, in preference to others. […] If you dont see toast and fried eggs at breakfast, dont worry, just ask, as these are provided freshly done. I booked this for one night, so i could be close to the US Embassy the next day. It was much better than expected. The check in lady gave me a room where I could look out over the square as I sipped my tea. Palatial breakfast - with first class waiter service, and decent breakfast buffet selection. The hotel generally is classy, is grand, comfortable, […] relaxed, and central to Mayfair, and close to everything. Room was very comfortable, clean, nice TV, tea making, and a very classy custom built marble bathroom with antique style fittings. A delightful stay. Devamı

This is our 3rd stay at the Millenium and we like it because of its location in mayfair which is excellent for when we have tickets for the ~Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium or any of the West End Theatres. Some of the rooms are a bit tired looking and the bar is very expensive but the staff are very helpful and there are plenty of restaurants […] and pubs in the vacinity which are less expensive. Had a problem with the television we were unable to get any channels but on ringing reception we were told that everyone had this problem due to a fault in the area ! Would book here again provided we managed to get the same discount with hotels.com wouldn't pay full price which is very expensive. Devamı

Very proficient and friendly staff. Lovely room - only problem was could do with more lighting.

Hotel is a very charming old residence. Located in Grosvenor Square close to US, Canadian and Indonesian Embassy. Rooms are comfortable. Bathrooms much smaller than they should be given decent size of rooms. Pros - Lobby is beautiful. Restaurants very chic. Staff are friendly. Location is pleasant. Rooms are clean. Cons - bathrooms small. Bath fills […] up quickly during shower. Housekeeping don't replace toiletries! Double beds are actually singles pushed together. Phone rings randomly throughout the night waking you up. Room service often get orders wrong. It is too far from local public transport, so you have to walk a lot to get to nearest tube or bus stop. TV has limited no. of English-language channels. Lifts/Elevators break down regularly. Devamı

The bedding seems old and the mattresses are sagging. The furniture is dated and the cushion on the chair is very uncomfortable. Size of the room was fine, but 2nd floor room is too close to the main lobby and thus remains noisy. Wireless Internet connection in some of the rooms is patchy.

This is a fantastic location for shoppers and theater goers. You can walk to so may great surounding neighborhoods. Great cafes in the neighborhood for breakfast as well. Didn't try the restaurant in the hotel but it was busy and the menu looked great.

Hi - I stayed here last week for 4 nights. This is my second visit - the room given to me before was bigger. This time smaller but still good. The room was very clean and up-to-date. Check in was fast and the gentleman in reception was polite and welcoming without over doing it. The hotel has a car park which made things easier. we stayed here on a sat night out. no bath just a shower which leaked terribly and we had to use our towels to stop it coming into the bedroom. clean and easy, quite small. woken early by skate boarders outside, which wasnt the hotels fault.

When I managed to book a fantastic, reputable hotel at such a great rate, I did initially question how good it really could be. How disappointing, that after a very friendly welcome from the reservations desk, our room was on initial review 'unkempt'. On closer inspection however, it was downright dirty.'Someone' (I can only imagine a cleaner? I perish […] the thought who else....) had sat on the bed - in itself, not so bad. However the bathroom had used soap, rubbish in the bin and the bath (with shower overhead) filled up whilst showering - it was clogged up with human hair! DISGUSTING! Such a let down, as the view/location and size of room fantastic. The bed was comfy too - we just didn't want to spend too long in it for fear of it's uncleanliness. The rate we paid didn't come with breakfast, but we left so early, we weren't too perturbed. I recommend this hotel as the rest of the hotel was great, but please, check the cleanliness of your room before you unpack! Devamı

Great location adjacent to Oxford Street and the West end. Hotel was not cheap, but the room was larger than expected which made a considerable difference to others stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although predominantly geared around business users they treated us tourists very well. I hope to save up and stay there again!! excellent location. stayed at this hotel many times before. usually the stay was excellent with spacious and clean rooms. this time, however, i was put in room 621 and it was a disaster. the entire room is in dire need of a serious refurb. the room was tiny and smelled like mildew. the mattress and bed was very old. the tv was ancient. the bathroom […] and shower dingy. most disturbingly, the climate control did not work at all and the room was very hot. bottom line, i expect more from this hotel and would never want to be put in a room like that again. very unpleasant. Fantastic location. Close to must see sights and 3 blocks from Oxford street, the busiest shopping street in Europe. An added treat was the afternoon tea which was presented in royal splendour. I highly recommend this hotel to all business and pleasure travellers.

Centrally located boutique size hotel in Mayfair embassy row. Nice public spaces and comfortable room and bed, clean but small and worn with tears in wallpaper and scruff marks. Nothing high tech and no plug adapters in room (bring your own). Short walk to luxury shops and restaurants of Bond and Oxford streets. Quiet location. I did not eat at the […] available Italian and Japanese restaurants. Room service also available. A great base for exploration of London although the nearest tube station was a 10 minute walk. Not a place to linger around (nothing to see or do at hotel itself). Very reasonably priced for London. Devamı

we had to ask for room to be cleaned on two occassions also air conditioning wa s not working very cold fixed eventually on the sunday four oclock pm two drinks in hotel bar 18 pounds iknow you have to expect to pay more but that is way over the top

This hotel had lovely rooms with very comfortable beds. Check in desk were very efficient and looked extremely smart . Breakfast was lovely with a very good choice . I was with friends so we had two rooms and we were all pleased with our overnight stay. We would all reccomend the hotel and definitely stay there again

Quiet location on Grosvenor Square a short walk to the tube. I had a room at the top floor, like a dormer/attic room -- it was compact but well appointed, comfortable and quiet. No where to place suitcase, which isn't unusual I guess. The bathroom was small but a lot nicer than mine is! Plus, they fixed the broken hinge on the toilet seat, even when […] I didn't mention it to them. I left two pounds for a tip, but the maid only took one pound. DIdn't like having to pay for breakfast -- very pricey like pretty much everything is in London. So I skipped breakfast the next morning and ate elsewhere... All in all a very nice hotel, with friendly, efficient and accommodating people at the reception,. They let me arrange to keep the room until 1:30 pm without a charge which helped a lot. The location is perefect for accessing the west-end, regents street, oxford street etc... But the accomodation is looking a little tired.

This hotel was very good value - the price is usually lower than what we paid, can recommend.

The location can not be better. Front desk personnel are very helpful and the concierge services saved us a lot of hassle by pre-booking tickets and providing recommedations for sights. The only issue we had was the room. We traveled with another couple and they booked the same room. Their room was great but our room was a disaster! First we received […] a room that was not the room we booked - that happens but the front desk debated with us about it. They finaly agreed to move us to a suite which is what we reserved. It was the dirtiest, undermaintained room we have ever stayed in - definitely not a 4 star room. The room service missed something every day (coffee, towels, etc) and in the middle of the stay - helped themselves to our shampoo - but added water to the mix to make it look like nothing was missing. The TV service worked but was slow to respond - they actually still have old CRT TV's in the suites!? I have not seen this in any high end hotels for the last 5 years. Everything is a charge at this hotel. Free wifi is pretty standard in most upper end hotels these days. They should at least have a place where you can check in for flights. All in all, I would recommed staying with a name brand hotel over this one in the same district. If you do want to stay here, check out the room first before you unpack and you will be a lot happier. I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was quite large (especially for London). The bed was very comfortable and I felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood. The service was also excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

The Millenium hotel in London is a charming hotel to stay at with a wonderful history. It is located in the heart of all the major shopping areas and close to all the sites to see (all within a 15 to 25 minutes walking distance). While the first impression of the hotel at checkin was quite disappointing, the rest of the stay turned out to be quite […] nice. The room was very nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. We were easily able to get around to all the site seeing places (walking distance) and go through the exclusive designer stores on Bond Street as well as very close to Oxford and Regent streets for some serious shopping and souvenior hunting. Ideally situated was the plus factor in this hotel. The deluxe room was overpriced and the room needed urgent updating. Very cluttered and no space to move around. No free wireless internet in the room which should be included in the rate. The concierge were informative and very helpful. Enjoyable stay room was comfortable and well sized ,liked the location. We were allocated a twin room in error but this was efficiently corrected by reception. Avista restaurant well worth a visit very good , we found the Pine Bar busy and under staffed ; on one evening ordered drinks but after 20 mins gave up waiting .
