"nice and well located"
This hotel is located well in the heart of downtown Charleston. The room was neat and the beds comfortable. I never sleep well in a hotel room but I did last saturday night.
Too expensve
Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Business center with computer was convenient and accessible.
"Nice but unexpected expanse"
The hotel itself and amenities were very nice for our stay. My biggest problem was that the hotel is still charging $12.95/24 hours for wireless Internet access ... that was disturbing to all of us staying in the hotel as use of the business center was inconvenient. That is a decided disadvantage for future stays for us.

Overall it was a satisfying experience. I was there for business purposes & the hotel was right on for that. Comfortable bed, good bathroom anemities, and a shuttle to my seminar. However, I took my husband and son, for them it was not as enjoyable. A continental breakfast wasn't included, there was no microwave or fridge in the room. The indoor pool […] was to cold and the hot tub was to hot-so they couldn't use those anemities. The room was quite small and was not very conducive to staying in for a little break when a child is present who would like to play a little. The internet was not free in the room. There was a nice flat screen tv in the room and it is conveinently located near the mall, just cross the road, and it is about half a mile away from a kids acivity center/museum. Devamı
"home away from home"
I get tired of spending nights in hotels, but it is necessary. I just want to say thanks to the wonderful staff for doing an awesome job. Clean hotel, friendly and efficient service. Keep it up. I enjoyed my stay.

"Very convenient"
This is the place to stay if your are planning on shopping in the Town Center Mall or have an event in the Civic Center to go to.

The Mariott in Charleston, WV has gone downhill since I last stayed there. There is a charge for the internet and parking. Both are usually free at other chains. They offer in-room checkout via tv, but mine froze-up and after 10 minues I went downstairs to check-out in person. They wanted to make certain that I had received the extra bill for the parking […] and internet that was put under my door. There were no newspapers for sell, and no complimentary ones either. The ink pen leaked all over my hand. Staff was nice, friendly and knew what they were doing. Very helpful with directions. Wonderful maid staff. Devamı

The personal were very friendly especially Stephanie and the room was clean. It was great that they offered Starbucks coffee and had fresh water and lemon in the lobby.The egg sandwich was especially good and the home fries were wonderful. You do have to pay for parking thats was the only downside.

The convenience of the location was great. The room was small, but clean and very adequate. The hotel lobby was quite nippy (it was a cold, snowy day) and our room was chilly when we arrived. We left and went shopping and on return the room was still cold. We found the sliding glass door was not completely closed. The worst part was a band that was […] playing somewhere (I assume in the hotel) and we heard drum beating and guitars from 5:30 until 11:30 p.m. There was a Beta Club convention and there were teenagers congregating in the hall outside our room and playing games (racing or whatever) up and down the hallway until midnight! "Marriott Charleston Towne Center - Over Priced"
Staff was friendly - Room was comfortable - Water faucet in bathroom sink would not turn off - Hair Dryer overheated and shut down after about a minute - Only Pepsi products sold in vending machines - No refrigerator or microwave - Parking was an additional and was pretty expensive - Hotel is overpriced for its offerings. "Dilapidated Marriott Downtown Charleston"
The hotel felt fairly run-down and I'll-maintained. The parking garage was tight with a rather small (and agonizingly slow) elevator. Check-in went fairly smoothly. So, I headed to my room. After a rickety elevator ride, I stepped out to find Cheerios all over the floor. The service in the hotel's restaurant was arguably the worst I have ever received: […] we waited for five minutes at the hostess' desk to be seated. After a bit of searching I found a personal to seat us. After that, it took another 15 minutes for the server to come to the table and another 45 to get our breakfast. Devamı

had paid for conceire room- placed in other room- asked about it- clerk rude and not helpful. Supervisor tried to apooligize- not pleased with food or stay. Never go there again
"Fix this one thing"
The room was a good size and the bed was wonderful with its soft white sheets. The towels were nice and the one-cup coffee maker was very convenient. The one thing that really turned me off was that the drinking glasses looked smudged and unclean. Yuk! Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

"Great Location, Enoyed the Mall next door, great place to stay"
The hotel is very conveniently located, and hence it is typically very busy. I have three kids, and there was a national soccer tournament the same weekend, but the Hotel was clean, nice, and surprisingly quiet. The price is reasonable, the pool is nice, the fitness facility is nice as well (there is also a sauna in the Locker Room). Overall, my kids […] and wife enjoyed their stay, and we have stayed at this hotel two years in a row on our way to the OuterBanks. It also has a nice breakfast and lounge area, but the three story mall next door is a key attraction, and offers a food court and other restaurants, including an upscale "chop house". Is this a five star hotel? No. Is this an extremely comfortable hotel with many amenities; absolutely. I would recommend this hotel. Devamı

"Outstanding!"
My mother and I stayed there so I could take the NCLEX. Upon checking in (with extremely nice service) we entered our room and noticed a card to pre-order breakfast, considering that this was an extremely stressful time for me, this was extremely convenient for us. We pre-ordered breakfast and asked for a few other items that were met without question […] along with it to arrive by 0615, in which that need was met. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable with the down comforters, and the view was beautiful, too! Needless to say, this stay provided me with an exceptional nights rest, beautifully prepared hot breakfast brought by room service! The only complaint is no little fridge/microwave. Devamı
