Hyatt Regency Dallas - Dallas

Swimming pool very small. Looks like it could lhold about ten people at a time. Not a whole lot of amenities. Internet is not free!

We stayed there because it was close to the convention we were attending . We didn't get in til late and @ 2:45a.m., a loud, horrible alarm recording went off telling us to leave our rooms. Come to find out, it was a false alarm. I never got any sleep.

The hotel is absolutely fine and the accomodations were excellent. The staff was outstanding and their responsiveness was great. The hotel is difficult to get to due to it being behind their own convention center. With all of the streets being one way, it's easy to miss it and have to go a long ways to be able to get back around.

I only have one complaint that can be avoided by asking for a room that does not open up to where you can look straight down to the bar below. Loud noises even on the 17th floor because when I walked out my door I could look over the railing and look straight down and see the bar crowd. 11:00 pm to 1:30 am was the loudest. So just ask for a different […] room. These specific rooms need additional sound protection into the sleeping area or the hotel needs to add a sound barrier just above the bar to absorb the noise. room was small and noisy furniture was old and not in good condition. bathroom door was rusty coffemaker was in the bathroom carpet was not clean I was feeling that I am in a low class hotel. I was really shocked , even the people they were loudly talking in the lobby , it was disturbing . not a good experiance.

Best to only stay here is you are part of the convention and plan to stay up all night with everyone else. I had a room near the elevator overlooking the bar. Add to that the train that runs all night and you've got a recipe for insomnia. Front desk "swore" it would be a quite room. I've heard less noise on a rollercoaster. The location worked well for our needs, which influenced our hotel selection choice. Check-in staff were very helpful, as were the valet attendants greeting guests upon arrival. I hate to detract from the positives but in order to post an accurate rate for our stay, must comment on two disappointing area's. 1) Housekeeping...beds were sloppily made […] up, sheets immediately untucked and basically, we had to remake our beds. We were guests for two nights...had to call for Housekeeping to come on the second day...gave them till after 3:00 p.m....we needed to shower. 2) Valet desk attendants...Could never get them to answer their line to request vehicle retrieval. Discovered why when we saw then repeatedly picking up the receiver & hanging up without ever answering. Understandable possibly when it's busy...but it was not at the time. We commented & the attendant was very impolite. Perhaps working with customers is not a good fit for her...unfortunately a poor reflection on the Hyatt. Devamı

Fantastic hotel if you are attending a conference or event on site. The restaurants are good, as is the bar. The rooms aren't huge, but they are good for the location. The front desk is well run and most of the service (room service, valets, concierge) is very good. The maid/cleaning crew seems understaffed. Each time we have stayed there, they have […] done a great job when they make it to our room...but at least once during each stay they haven't made it to our room until late afternoon when we were trying to get ready for dinner. Thought the hotel was really nice - food was REALLY good. However, the beds aren't quite Marriott or Westin beds. Also, the showers themselves needed to be updated

From the minute I drove up, the hospitality was amazing...got a choice of the floor and view I wanted...i've never stayed at this hotel before, but can't wait to stay again. it was so convenient to my meeting.

I was looking forward to staying here. I had asked for city view and was not impressed with the room I got. It was very small, bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and overall it was not what the photographs depicted - as far as the room goes. Will have to definitely try something much less expensive next time!

The hyatt was AMAZING!! ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT --looking down and seeing all the city lights of Dallas was amazing! We went for our wedding anniversary and loved it! There were 28 floors but the highest they could put us in was the 9th. But that was ok.. The only thing that was crazy about is that we went down to the bar and our drinks were $28!! Check-in was easy and people were friendly. The hotel was beautiful. Food at restaurants was very good. The bar area has plenty of seating, televisions, and good staff. Nice work-out room with plenty of machines and weights. Only complaint is that the room was noisy (near elevators and train outside). Though this hotel is obviously for business travelers and convention goers it was perfectly comfortable for me and my toddler who enjoyed the corridor to Union Station, the room, restaurants, and even the weird pool.

Everything was extremely nice except parking was a big hassle so I recommend valet. Also on the few chances I get I would have loved to sleep-in in their nice beds but room service barged completely into the room at 8:00 and was next to my bed starring at me like she didn't understand "no" in English. So lock your door, let valet park, and make reservations […] to eat in the reunion Tower well in advance and enjoy the best view of Dallas from this hotel. Devamı

We had high expectations for the Hyatt and they were not really met :( My wife and I, whom are usually Hilton customers, wanted to try something different and downtown for valentines this year. I booked a king through Hotels.com and then on the morning of arrival day, called the actual hotel to confirmation my KING and check-in time status. supposedly […] all good. Get there, check in and get to the room... 2- QUEENs. I call and of course no other options. So we decide to live with it, going with the idea of "cozy". Being a valentines gig, we really only asked the hotel of three things 1. room 2. pay per view in theater movies 3. killer room service. They failed on 2 out of 3, the room and then OF COURSE they completely screwed up both of our room service orders..... This hotel was one of the nicest places I have stayed in. The whole staff was wonderful from the valets to the maids. They have 2 great restaurants located in the hotel. We ate at both. The hotel bar was great as well!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful. Wanted to dine at Five Sixty but couldn't get reservations 5 days prior. We did go up for a drink though and the view is amazing. Will be nicer when the tunnel to Union Station is back open. Overall was a wonderful weekend though.

The was one of the best hotels for the price that I received from Hotel.com The hotel was very accommodating, they put us with a wonderful view of Downtown Dallas. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Good hotel experience!

Great location near Union station and tower for dinner at Wolfang Puchs. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Beds and pillows not great. Need to learn how to make beds - sheets always rumpled and a bit scratchy. definitely not thousand tread count.

First off When I arrived I tried to pull up to the front to valet car and was told they were full yet I saw numerous open spots up front. I was told to pull arounf to the back which is an underground parking garage and you have to pay valet there also which is $20 and up. They just pulled my car in the first slot 20 ft. away and I could have done that. […] The only other parking is across the street in some parking lot that doesn't look secure at all!Then I had to walk forever and up two flights of stairs just to front desk. Then I tried to find food, anything and was told they have none and no room service was available after midnight? There was not a even a snack machine on the entire property??? Thank god I didnt have any small children with me who were hungry. And If I left to go get something I would have to pay valet all over again? Devamı

The Hotel was close to our planned event and the interior and exterior were very pretty. The staff were very friendly and completely helpful. The actual rooms were hideous, and totally outdated. The furniture looked as if it was built in the 1950's and then purchased from the local Goodwill or Salvation Army store. There was a charge for the use of […] a small room refrigerator, there was a charge for access to the internet (and not a cheap charge, more than $9.00 for one day), it costs more than $23.00 a day to park (but did have unlimited access to the vehicle each day but you felt guilty if you did not tip the valets for their time). If I remember correctly it was also close to $3.00 plus dollars for a warm bottle of water that was placed in the room for sale. The room rate was a hundred plus dollars per night plus the above charges. We actually checked in and spent two nights (due to my mom flying into Dallas before we could get checked out but we did check out and back into a local chain hotel and Totally enjoyed our stay there, paid less money, had a free room refrigerator, free Wi-Fi, free parking, relatively new furniture, great television and most importantly a room rate of less than sixty dollars a night. Nice hotel, good service, and good location.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location plus everything that you need is located in the hotel.

Parking was miserable as they have multiple valet sites and did not offer the closer valet for individuals with walking problems. No bedspreads on the beds. Room service was very good an quick on a busy night. Accommodations were adequate, nothing to write home about

We found the beds very uncomfortable. They were very hard and we didn't sleep well at all. The pillows weren't the greatest either.

The hotel was so nice, one of the best I've ever stayed in, given my budget. The staff were so friendly, as were the bartenders :) My only complaint would be that we did not have a mini-fridge or microwave in our room, but no biggie. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

The hotel was amazing. Great location in Downtown Dallas. Just prepare to spend more then usual for everything.

Hotel was very convenient to great entertainment and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay.

Train outside noisy all night long (and we were on the 9th flloor) All restaurants closed on Sunday (even though the desk told us they were open)

Hotel was great value for money and in a fantastic location. Dallas was also great and we had a really good time.
