Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Airport - Los Angeles

They've soundproofed the windows, so even though we faced the runway we never noticed any airport noise. It's walking distance from LAX, although the hotel has a scheduled shuttle as well. Street parking was easy to find during the day; at night your choice is valet or a couple of self-park lots 1/4-1/2 mile away. The restaurant food was good although […] a little pricey. We recently made 2 layover trips to this hotel, which we booked for price reasons & had stayed here happily before. The price is a good £30-40 cheaper than many other LAX hotels and nothing was drastically awful, but they were certainly 2 different experiences Trip 1 - great. Lovely big room, no noise, free wifi, sleep temper beds ( don't quite know […] how it works but you can change it from hard to soft mattress), nice toiletries, good shower, room service breakfast looked so tempting we nearly ordered it; free shuttle great; check in and out great friendly and efficient. Trip 2 - not so great. Had paid for deluxe room, didn't get it, so had to go back and be re-allocated ( which was done efficiently by the front desk). We had had to wait a really long time for the shuttle - though a tip, the Courtyard at Marriott is just opposite this hotel, so you could always grab their shuttle too. Room stifling hot, and we just couldn't get the air-con to work to make it colder. We had looked forward to booking a breakfast, but there was no details of any of the room service food in the room at all. In fact the only details of any services were in a very shabby brochure that was falling to pieces in the room. And I couldn't find out any information, apart from my bill, on the guest services part of the TV menu. Of course I'm sure I could have called the front desk to ask for one, but, us being tired and it being late, I just couldn't face it. Room size, wifi, and bed was good as before, but a series of little niggles really made this stay a disappointment when we were looking forward to enjoying the hotel a bit more as we had a longer time to spend there. Maybe we should have taken a tip from the pilots and crew who we shared the shuttle with - they were all staying at the Sheraton! Devamı

You can hear everything and I mean everything through the walls. The bed was so worn that you could roll off the edge. The phone was broken and they charged our credit card for "extra" $25 fee which we then had to call about to get removed. We had 3 kids, luggage and car seats and there was no bellman and they would not let us use the bell cart sitting […] there. Overall: a good place to stay if you're catching a flight. LAX is right across the street, and shuttles run frequently. I was here for a one-night stay to catch an early flight out of LAX. The airport is literally across the street. Planes were taking off outside my window, but you couldn't hear a whisper of it. The rooms were VERY dated with not enough […] plugs for the modern business traveler and decor from the late 70's. Nonetheless, the room was very spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and the lobby inviting, though the food and room service was pricey for what it was (room service, in particular, has a delivery fee, service fee, and LA tax on top of the base cost). The hotel is at a very short walking distance from the terminals and you do not need a taxi unless you have loads of baggage. Well sound proofed, so just perfect if you don't want to risk missing your flight due to transportation problems.

This hotel is in need of a major overhaul.

We had a 7.5 hour layover between flights, and the VIP rooms were all closed for the night, so we caught the free shuttle and got a room at the Radisson. It was clean, but there was no heat! The temperature outside was 50 degrees and we were coming in from Hawaii. We froze to death!!! We didn't want to waste time changing rooms since we wanted all the […] time we could get to sleep. But other than that, it makes for a great place to spend time if you have a long layover. Plus they have 24 hour room service! Devamı

Just stayed one night, and enjoyed the sleep number bed! The car rental place was farther from the airport than the hotel! Wish I'd known there was an adjacent car rental place to the hotel. Would have booked there. Easy check out for us to get on our way the next day.

We thought the food in the dinning room was excellent. We ate one evening meal there and two breakfasts. It was a little pricey but excellent food. The service was great. We thought the shuttle from the airport and the shuttle for our tours that picked us up at the hotel were good. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here the night before our early departure home from LAX. The 24 hour airport shuttle was extremely convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar area is relatively small but clean and nice. The hotel could use a little updating (the TV was pretty old) but overall it is nice and clean. This hotel is fine for a brief stay near the airport.

Arrived at 6:30 am with tired 10 year old. Early plane had been cancelled and we were rebooked for next day. Lovely woman at check in gave us room we could occupy immediately and I put granddaughter back to bed. Pool is enormous and lovely. Dinner in hotel dining room graced by waiter who was particularly good serving granddaughter

My stay at the Raddison hotel in LAX, was ok! The room I was in the air conditioner took forever to get warm and also their was no microwave or refrigerator. But on another note I would recommend it to others

Very convenient to LAX. Clean and comfortable. Friendly front desk staff.

Aside from the intractability of a front desk staffer, when we tried to upgrade our room or book an additional room, the experience, location, amenities and concierge services were great.

our accommodations were a lot to be desired - the staff at the hotel was really good and the front lobby was very attractive - the little restaurant just off from the front lobby was really nice and the staff were great there as well - BUT out room was awful - the enamal is coming off of the tub in big quantities and the rug in the room should have […] been cleaned!!!!!!!~!!!!!!!!!!!! it had a few big stains on it therefore that first impression made us feel that the rest of the room was not clean! never again! and they should clean up!!!!!!!!!! Overall the hotel was fair however, the first room that I was given smelled extremely foul and did not appear to have been cleaned. After requesting another room I was given a room that was cleaner and my stAy from that point on was fine.

Everything was ok but we requested a room with king size bed - didn't get it, had two full size beds- kinda weird when it's just you and your spouse- maybe let someone know ahead of time if they request something and it's not available for them.

useful, by the airport, for quick stay

The attention given to me at the Radisson LAX front desk was exceptional. Very courteous and professional. The room was clean and the bed was fit for a great nights rest. I got a bang for my bucks.

A decent, comfortable hotel. The servers in the restaurants (especially Felipe) and the other hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I checked into the Radison LAX after a late flight and was greeted nicely and given my key. I got to my room and opened the door and the entry light didn't work. I blocked the door open and made my way to the night stand where I turned on the nightstand light. I then went to the bathroom and the light didn't turn on there, I jiggled it a couple times […] and got a light. Then I took a quick shower and got in bed and tried to turn on the TV. It didn't work. By then I was NOT going to call the office as I just wanted to sleep. AT 5 AM I was cold, so I went to the thermostat and saw a notice to put my room key in the slot by the door to activate the electricity. I just left in the AM and told the desk attendant what happened - although Their policy notice said if dissatisfied let them know and my fee would be refunded. The attendant said, well I guess you will know what to do next time. Other than NOT KNOWING the hotel was very nice and the first desk attendant was extremely polite. Hard to say I would recommend it - only if I remembered to tell them to use their room key to activate the electricity in the room. Devamı

You can't get closer to LAX unless you sleep in the terminal. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints. The only surprise: pizza from room service was really good!

Clean, convenient to LAX -- Sleep Number bed was a pleasant surprise. You wouldn't make this a destination hotel, but for pure utility at a fair price, the Radisson is a good choice.

The service was outstanding. I held a seminar in one of their meetings room and they did an awesome job. Afterwards they helped with shipping training material back to my office. I look forward to staying here again! P.S. The bed was very comfy as well.

Free airport shuttle showed up in 5 minutes. Checked in quickly. Given messages immediately. Room was adequate, but reeked of cigarettes. Too tired to move. Breakfast buffet was $18. Friendly servers struggling to clear dirty dishes from empty tables.

We stayed here both coming and going between Washington DC and New Zealand to break up the flight. It worked out quite well for this purpose. The rooms are a bit worn. They claimed that the hotel shuttle runs every 15 minutes, but it's more like every 30-40 so plan accordingly to give enough time for your flight. If you are staying in town and thinking […] of renting a car, Midway Rental Car's office is right across the parking lot and if you've been out of the country and are craving a good burger, In-N-Out is only about a 15 minute walk. There are double windows to reduce the noise from the planes and they do a reasonably good job. If you are not listening for them, they aren't noticeable. Devamı

Loved my stay here. Best rest I've had in a long time. My favorite part was the sleep number bed and the pillows they were so comfortable. I will be staying at this hotel again when I visit la again

Very convenient for LAX. Good value. Very pleasant restaurant and bar.

We booked here because my peers and colleagues told me that it was a great value for the price. First of all - you have to pay for valet parking - that altho they claim it's $20 a day it's actually $22 with taxes and fees. We had friends meeting us, and due to the valet situation, we ended up meeting them offsite and leaving their car in a local shopping […] center while we had to take two trips to the hotel to avoid them having to pay for valet. The hotel is located literally at the entrance of LAX. There was no clear signage for public parking outside of airport parking. We had two teens with us for our overnight stay and the sleepmatic beds were a problem. NOISY and uncomfortable. NO instructions. You need your room key to operate the power - which means one of us had to leave our room key in the holder at all times. We had to request extra towels as they only had 2 sets even though we clearly had 4 people on our reservation. And the refridgerator wasn't working when we arrived and they sent up a tiny little lady with another one on a dolly who struggled to try and lift and manuever the replacement unit off the dolly into the room. My husband had to assist her to make sure she didn't hurt herself. Devamı

I only stayed here for 2 nights, while visiting a customer. The room had the basics, but missed bottles of water and coffee/tea making facilities. TV was old-fashioned, with a poor reception. But it was fine in all other respects, with a good bed, desk, free wifi and reading light. No noise from the airport, even though it was right next door. While checking into the hotel for the evening the clerk didn't say one word to us besides ID and credit card. She didn't tell us that we were not getting the king size bed that we requested. We found out after arriving at the room we had two full sized beds. After calling downstairs to ask for a different room and explanation of the different room the […] response of the lady of the phone was "If u don't like it bring down your key!" insinuating that we check out and go elsewhere. The light in out room didn't work, and the soap despencers were empty. As a repeat customer to this location Id just expect to get treated a little better then I did. Devamı
