The only problem was that they didn't change the sheets when we asked them too. The view was amazing! I would definitely stay here again and again.

Just finished our "In Texas" roadtrip staying at these 3 different hotels starting with Austin, Houston and San Antonio. This hotel was in a great location to the Congress Bridge, Lady Bird Lake with great walking/running trails, kayak rentals, University of Texas, State Building and the famous 6th street. If you are a swimmer go see the Barton Springs […] Pool. They also rent bikes at the hotel. $10 per bike per hour. They only have 3 so go early. Theres also a great theatre on 6th street where they serve you dinner and drinks during the movie. Great may be an exaggeration as they forgot to bring us our order. 6th street, at night, even week nights is something pretty crazy. Not for young kids and I'd worry if my daughter hung out there (luckily i don't and won't have a daughter). It's one bar after the other all the way down the street. Check out the local Whole Foods, biggest and busiest one I've ever seen! My one complaint was the bathroom. Please finish the renovation. Look at that door and poor cleaning of the tile in the bathroom 2109. Sorry but having a clean bed and bath are my pet peeves. Austin, I'm afraid you came in 2nd place to Houston as far as hotels go. 1st place in location to visit out of the 3. I just have a question, where are all the cowboy hats and boots? Devamı

The Hyatt Regency in Austin is well situated -- just across the river from Downtown and quite pleasant; the location on the lake lends it a little bit of air and space -- particularly in comparison to the hotel canyons right by the Convention Center. It is, admittedly, showing its age just a little (the 1980s produced neither classic cars nor classic […] hotels) but is well kept and comfortable. Devamı

I put white socks on my toddler and in no time at all the socks were black. Hyatt... please clean your carpets.

Good hotel - great view. Should offer free internet access like most other hotels these days. Also, in room water $5??? Seriously?

We loved our view and the location was great. The only complaint would be that the bed was super firm...neither my husband or I slept well and we both woke up so sore.

I made the reservation at the Hyatt because my husband and I wanted to stay over night at a nice hotel to celebrate my birthday. I didn't know then that it was SXSW weekend until a couple of days after I had made the booking. The location of the hotel was ideal for us; we could walk to Sixth St. and everywhere else downtown, and we had the river to […] explore. My favorite thing about this hotel is the access to the walking/jogging trail around the lake. Beautiful view no matter the season! We will be back soon....

This was a wonderful place to stay with our girls. The capitol was just down the street and the views from our window were spectacular. The free breakfast was delicious and all the staff were extremely courteous and professional. Our only complaint was that four days AFTER we checked out we had a charge on our debit card for a "hold." I understand hotels […] placing a hold on a debit card, but I've never had one placed four days after we've left. It was taken off the next day, but it was still strange. Devamı

Our hotel stay was meant to relax, eat out, and relax. This was a weekend get-a-away Christmas gift from my husband after all the hussle and bussle of hosting holiday parties and having a large group over for New Year's Eve. We always enjoy visiting Austin and staying at the Hyatt Regency was truly what we needed. The river and city view was awesome. […] We kept our drapes opened the whole time. We could have used a refrigerator and microwave in the room for the leftovers we brought in from eating out, but other than that, our stay was fabulous and very romantic. Devamı

Hotel was great, book reservations directly with the hotel though. Lots of confusion about # of room and selection of rooms.

Awesome room with a great view! Convenient location to everything downtown! Great breakfest buffet and great service! We will be back!

The hotel room was nice, but the bathroom was a little dated. Overall, the quality of the room and the cleanliness was great.

Wanted to know my dogs name when registering then a few minutes after getting to my room showed up with a doggie bed, snacks etc. Huck was very happy.

If you have the chance to have a riverview room, the hotel's location is amazing with a view that includes both the river besides the hotel and Austin's skyline right behind that same river.

We had an extremely comfortable stay with good food and lovely room. However, there were many fairs going on in Austin that weekend; and we got caught up accidentally in the foot and vehicle traffic on the way to the hotel...not the fault of the hotel, but very annoying. We were in a double room, with breakfast included. We put two breakfast orders on our door and had to leave the hotel no later than 7:15am the next day. They brought only ONE breakfast, and then called back to say they didn't receive the other breakfast card ... and BOTH were placed on the door at the same time. Room Service then called back and recited […] the missing order ... and said they would comp the breakfast ... which was ALREADY COMPED. Don't stay here. Devamı

Hyatt Austin is convenient to many places we like to go. Sunday morning buffet is super! Have stayed there before and will stay there again when we need to be in Austin..

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Close to all the nightlife and the lake. But on all three nights we tried to have dinner or drink in hotel the service was extremely slow. Would not recommend bar/restaurant at all.

We reserved two rooms for our family in town for a family event. The location was very nice and convenient and our rooms were very nice too. Although we were late checking in and very tired, the attendant was very nice and helpful and got us to our rooms quickly. Also, when I called back after we had already checked out to ask if my daughter had left […] her glasses in one of the rooms, a very nice lady was able to quickly locate them and mail them to us. I would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Devamı

The location of the Hyatt to S Congress and downtown Austin is ideal and in the past I have loved staying here. This time however our room was not ready when we got there and it took about 25 minutes passed the time it was guaranteed to be ready which annoyed me. The room itself was fine but never cooled off thoroughly even though we turned it down […] to 68 degrees! It's so hot outside and I get that but we had trouble sleeping the room was so warm. On the plus side, everyone is nice and the breakfast buffet was delicous and the bar was fun. I would try it again but not unless I got a really good price. Devamı

The Hyatt is very nice and recently renovated. It has a great location to all the Hot Spots in Austin even walkable to many of them! Staff is courteous and professional. Dan in Dallas

This hotel has a great location, that's it. The boats on the river are in no way affiliated with the Hotel. The staff doesn't know the shedule or have copies. The hotel is waaaay overpriced, paying $2 for a bottle of water and $9 for Internet and $14 for overnight parking after the price you pay for a room is just Ludicrous. The staff is clueless, the […] towels in the room are old and the pool is too small! Devamı

Parking lot is kinda small and parking fee is kinda expensive!

4 star hotel with 5 star treatment asked they set up my room with flowers champange and balloons and with out fail did all that and more even a chocolate pad with the incription stating my wifes birthday

I had made my reservation for the wrong date in error. Even on a busy holiday weekend, they were able to provide us a room and gracioulsy waived the "no show' fees that we should have been charged. Thanks so much for a lovely stay and for being so accomidating.

This hotel is close to all the site seeing excursions and the music scene on historic 6th Street and the Warehouse District Austin, TX has to offer. It is right on the river with a beautiful view of the Colorado River, downtown or the hill country. It is within walking distance of the jogging trails around Lady Bird Lake (old Town Lake).

The Hyatt Regency in Austin is an ideal place to stay. Right on Lake Austin, so the view is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the beds very comfy. Close to everything you would want to do in Austin! You can hop right on a river boat, a canoe, and paddle boat or a ski board right out the back door of the hote […] l! Devamı

The service at the Hyatt was very accommodating. We were in Austin for a special occasion, and the hotel clerk gave us a a room with an incredible view, overlooking the Colorado River, the Congress Ave bridge and all of downtown. The location is incredibly convenient to downtown, Towne Lake running trail and all of the shops/restaurants on Congress […] Ave. And considering it was Memorial Day weekend, we were still able to get a room at a reasonable rate and without having to call months in advance. I highly recommend this hotel. Also - it is family friendly. Devamı

The Hyatt was so comfy and the room was just what I requested and the beds were very comfortable and the service was great. I liked the bar and the food in room dining was delicious and I would definately stay here again. Great location and very fun place.
