overall, this is a great hotel in terms of location, convenience, quality of the hotel and rooms, service and value. I would stay here again. one problem was that there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner in the room. after i informed the front desk, soap was delivered, but no shampoo and conditioner. I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I did not like was the yelling and slamming of doors from midnight until 3:00 AM. This is something I should have addressed. Otherwise, all was great and we really enjoyed the pool.

had a slight problem with the heating system, but it was fixed. Elevator got stuck, and doors did not open initially. They did after an uncomfortable second, but that was enough for us to choose to use the stairs for the rest of our stay.

The hotel was very nice: room, bar, restaurant and lobby. The thing I found less than excellent was the bathroom in my room was very small. It was hard to move around. I think the room was in an older part of the hotel.

Stayed 2 nights..... the restaurant & pool area is beautiful... the room... needs updating... no frig, mircowave. i don't remember the last time i stayed at a hotel that didn't have these. the chairs look 20 years old. UPDATE!!!

-I was incredibly surprised by this hotel. It was fantastic; great location and excellent accommodations. "Looks nice, missing parts."
Nice & helpful staff, beautiful lobby & facilities, large capacity, and great location. However, staying in a cheaper place a couple blocks down might serve you better. WiFi costs $$ in room, no refrigerator, housekeeping staff can miss items (was without notepad for 4 day stay. they just left the empty pad on the desk), & a bit pricey. Hotel can be […] a maze, so enjoy the trek to find your room. Since its a maze, enjoy the foot traffic constantly stampeding past your room day & night. Most rooms face indoors, so don't expect a view. Since its a conference center, parking on the weekends near your room is rarely possible & the noise throughout the weekend nights can be quite loud (as your room faces the interior you'll get it from both sides). "Take along some extra cash...."
If you don't like surprises, give this hotel a miss. No internet access ($10 a day or one free hour in the common areas), no fridge or microwave, expensive luke-warm meals. Hard hot water, well actually not too hot, be prepared to run a little low on actual hot water if you are a late (6AM) riser. In short a nothing special hotel that overcharges and […] under performs. The Sheraton is a very nice hotel. There's an indoor pool and fitness facility that are luxurious. The room itself is standard, with a comfortable bed and well-planned bath. The Sheraton is adjacent to the UVM campus, though visitors to Burlington may find one of the hotels along the waterfront perhaps better located. The only comment I have is that as a business conference center, wi-fi should not be an additional charge. Most other hotels, family centered ones included, now provide free wi-fi access. I had not other complaints, but would likely not stay there again and find a hotel that includes wi-fi.

I was a little concerned about the reservation after I booked it because I read some negative comments on Trip Advisor. However, we were very satisified with the accomodations. The hotel was clean and our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient.

I was unhappy because I have never been to a hotel that would charge $9.95 per day for WiFI, but Iwas told I could get it free if I went into the hallway outside my room. Also I used the one package of reg. coffee the night before so I went down to the front desk @ 5:30 AM hoping to get another packet. To my dismay I was told that was unavailable but […] if I was feeling adventurous I could purchase a cup of coffee across the 6 lane road from the hotel. My daughter is enrolled at UVM and I plan on visiting her on many occasions in the next 4 years, but not at your hotel. Devamı
"Good hotel to s of hidden fees"
HOtel was nice the room was standard.you have to pay for Internet per day and the food is expensive. The pool had a funk on top. The other national brands were on the otherside of the highway.

great location. Near UVM, shopping, downtown, malls, farm tours etc. Hotel on the whole is very nice. It is great that they allow dogs. Hotel rooms, themselves, are alittle tired. I understand they are rennovating the rooms...apparently a very slow process.

"Beautiful hotel"
Lobby, checkin area, pool, dining, etc. are all beautifully decorated and comfortable. A really nice place for singles, families, couples, business, etc.

"Comfortable Beds! Service Sucks!"
The rooms are clean and the beds are VERY comfortable, loved the pillows! However, parking was a nightmare had to park about a block away as where our room was there was not enough parking, they do not have an area to do your laundry I had to drive down about half a mile to a laundry mat. Room service closed down early they suggested for me to go across […] the street to a little convience store to buy something to eat. They did not have a binder in the room with places to call for delivery like other hotels have, For the price I paid I was not satisfied...... Devamı

Way overpriced. Stay at a Best Western. You can't tell much difference and save 50%.
I was very pleased with our room. We were going to the Shelburne Museum and it was a very convenient location.

"Watch out for the small print!"
THIRSTY? in large letters on water bottle. The price per bottle can be read via magnifying glass. Ditto the price of using the in-room phone - rates listed somewhere near the phone. Do they charge for room to room calls too? Otherwise - the room was clean though a little noisy (air conditioner, doors slamming) and it was very close to downtown.

Rooms needed updating. Old windows with screen ripped; bathroom door had holes in it and dusty behind door. Very convenient for our purposes.

Very good service and the rooms are VERY clean. It needs to be modernized. The decoration of the hotel is outdated in the halls, rooms, lobby, elevators, pool. Needs a good facelift otherwise very good...

"Weathering the storm"
We originally planned a one-night stay for a family wedding. When Hurricane Irene hit, my daughter and son-in-law, who were the only ones able to get there, were able to extend three nights at a preferred rate. They finally escaped, just before the Winooski River crested, on Tuesday.

The hotel was clean and very nice. The only issue I had was that room service was terrible 2 nights in a row. the first night they sent up an incomplete order then brought the item up and then brought the same item up (which wasnt needed) and double charged us. The service and hotel lobby was lovely, but the rooms are dated, we were 4 people but only enough coffee supplies for 2, the beds were really comfortable but only doubles, queens would have been better.

Rooms are very dated. Definitely not what I would expect for a Sheraton nor for the cost to stay there. Very disappointed.

Super nice hotel as most Sheratons do well in service and cleanliness. I wish it was closer to some nightlife. Most areas, 1.5 miles is not far. In Burlington, VT. That's far. $10 cab fare each way to enjoy an evening was a stretch. But still, a great place to stay.

My brother and I had a great stay at your place where we walked the short downhill distance to downtown Burlington...The rooms were perfectly furnished and the down comforter on my bed was SO comfortable... "Sheraton, needs vacuuming"
People were nice, but under beds hadnt been vacuumed since the Bush era. Expected more for the price. No fan in bathroom also bizarre, leaves room foggy after showers. Did appreciate the complementary computer station near restaurant. Hallways were like saunas presumably to cut down on a/c costs, but higher floors were frigid, (of course those rooms […] cost more) but I saw this as chintzy. Also, the usually blasting room air conditioning mysteriously stopped working two hours before checkout time. Not great considering it was a sweltering day. Made me leave with an unpleasant feeling...that they cut it off to save costs after guests elave....Not nice when we are still in there. Devamı

"A welcome relief"
After a miserable experience at another hotel we found Shangrala. Bed and bedding were terrific and room clean and fresh. Only negative was the use of a poor Hollandaise sauce most likely a mix that needs to be replaced on their eggs Benedict. Fruit plate was exceptional. Keep up the good work.

"Too pricey for the quality"
The hotel has some nice features including the indoor pool and open dining areas. However the condition of the room I stayed in was dead average at best. The decor and furniture looked old, the windows were foggy, and there was an old hotel stale smell to the place. Compared to Hampton Inn or Marriott, the Sheraton paled in comparison. "Burlington VT Sheraton"
This a very large hotel that's a mile from downtown Burlington. We got a great rate on hotels.com which made it worthwhile. They have a shuttle service to the airport and downtown that picks you up a drops you off wherever you want to go. Everyone was very friendly and I would recommend it.

Had a very nice stay at this hotel. For the price, they could include continental breakfast, or newspaper service. No mini bar, which I don't usually use anyway but do expect to see at a hotel.

Hotel staff very friendly but hotel looked tired. Signs of aging: painting needed in areas; spots on sofa; old plumbing! Toilet took FOREVER to refill and all night there was a banging from what appears to have been a plumbing shaft. Woke me up and kept me awake. Pool L-shaped so no good for swimming laps. Restaurant food adequate but service substandard; […] had to go and ask for a menu and a glass of water to start! Maybe okay for tourists but not a good business hotel. Devamı
"Broken Air Conditioner"
After checking in, the room would not cool below 76 degrees. The maintenance man came to "change the batteries on the thermostat" and override the operation, stating it would be fine. Within one minute, the unit shut off, but continued to click loudly for several minutes, and the thermostat was blank and not functional. The manager stated there were […] no other rooms available, but brought up a portable unit. It was installed improperly, vented hot air into the room and leaked all over the carpeting. The bathroom had a moldy handicapped bench in the tub, which was disgusting. I would not recommend this property!! Devamı
