Upon entering and checking into the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff and complimentary adult beverages. Rooms were a little dated but the bed was fairly comfortable. Only major issue was that our phone wasn't working. The shuttle to Mohegan was nice but you needed to reserve time slots both to and from. Our room had a noise like a motor running constantly. We called the front desk. They said they would check into it. They did not give us a return call to let us know if they had checked and the noise continued. When we were going to our concert at Mohegan Sun we stopped at the front desk and told them again about the noise and that we may need a different […] room. They said they had investigated but found nothing that would create the noise. They asked a hotel worker to go with us to our room and he did. He found the refrigerator was malfunctioning and unplugged it. The noise stopped right away. When we returned there was no message that they had replaced it or fixed it. When we got to our room it was still unplugged. We did not bother to complain as we were only there for that night. Devamı

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to Mohegan Sun, and for it's shuttle-van service. The hotel was clean and modern, the shuttle van service was very convenient (and free!) and breakfast was better than I expected. We would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for service, which I didn't know ahead of time. I believe this […] was an omission on hotels.com's part, and not the hotel's. Our recent stay at the above hotel was very nice. Check-in was fast, easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a sign up sheet for the shuttle to the casino right at the desk, with different clip boards for different departure times. They had free cookies, and complimentary beer & wine in the lobby. Totally unexpected & totally great! […] The room was clean, quiet, and you had your choice of types of pillows. The shuttle coming home was also very easy. We've stayed at multiple hotels near the casino & this was by far the best. Devamı

I booked a king size bed non smoking room and when I checked in I was given a queen size bed and a smoking romm. Room smelt like cigarettes and weed.

A new inn, with new decor...welcoming and warm staff, close to Mohegan Sun, and much less expensive than staying at the casino. Lovely area as well, so not only the casino for some down time.

I was very upset with the women who checked us in that evening. I found her to be rude and condescending about the shuttle service to the local casino. When I booked this hotel, I was told the shuttle service was 24 hrs. It was until 2am, which was actually not that bad, but apparently, there was a "first come, first served" plan for it, that I was […] not told about and since we arrived @ 6pm, the latest time to come was 11:45pm. This was unacceptable! Then, we get up to our room, the room was not ours, it was filled with other peoples luggage. We had to go all way down to the lobby to get the correct room to stay in. When I arrived back at he front desk, there was another upset person there. He had called the hotel looking for his ID, they told him they "didn't see it" anywhere, but when we came in the door and looked at their couch, there it was, in plain site. He complained, and the came rude women who checked me, said "oh, but you found it though, right?" brushing it off, like it was not their responsibility to help their guest! If I didn't pay for the room in advance, and if it was refundable, I would not have stayed!! I've never been so turned off by customer service at a front desk and that person should NOT BE in customer service! I am sorry for the bad review, but someone needs to be informed of this. Devamı

We went for one night to go to the Mohegan Sun casino...upon check-in we were greeted with a free beverage of our choice! The staff was friendly and it was an easy cab ride to the casino...even home at 430 am. They have a free shuttle service...but if you want to use that sign up early! Would stay there again for sure!

Hotel was great. Two complimentary beverages for valentines day, room was perfect. Microwave, came in handy. Bed was comfortable. Free shuttle to and from Mohegan was great.

what great consistency on service at holiday inns. perfect place to stay when attending a concert at mohegan sun.....kudos to the stafff. they were great. lounge was wonderful.....thank you so much for a great get away....

Good location and price and close to the Casino. Need to be aware that there is limited seating in the free shuttle so you have to sign up for a particular time you want to go and come back. Also the shuttle driver is an elderly gentleman who could be a winning driver for NASCAR! Wow, does he drive fast and a little scary! We all had a good laugh on […] the way there and back though...in between praying! :) Devamı

Very happy to find a shuttle to Mohegan from the hotel. When arrived at Inn one of my rooms wasn't ready two hours after check in. The hotel did give my party drink vouchers for their bar due to the inconvenance. Pool is currently under renovations, don't bring your swim suit. The staff was very helpful.

We just stayed here over the MLK weekend. It was close to Mohegan Sun and the only place we could book. We reserved a No Smoking room but when we checked in, our room had clearly been used for smoking. The manager didn't seem to care and said she was sold out so we had to take the room. After we complained, she "found" another room which was rundown […] but clean. She also stated that she was not obligated to honor a reservation via Hotels.com that specified a no smoking room. The rest of our stay was uneventful but this place has gone down hill. Its cheaper that staying at Mohegan or Foxwoods but the quality is lacking. I would only go back if I was desperate! Devamı

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Definitely made the right choice on where to stay. If I ever revist the Norwich area, I'll be sure to stay here again.

Had a huge delay checking in. Got there to see a show at Mohegan Sun. Drove three hours to the place purposely to be there early and get some gambling time in. Check in was 3:00. We arrived 4:00. Room wasn't ready. They gave us bar coupons for a free drink and told us rooms would be ready in about 40 minutes. Huh? Totally sucked. Decided not to wait […] around but then had to do the whole check in at 2 am and had our luggage in the car all day. NOT IDEAL. They need to get their rooms serviced more quickly. I was not at all pleased with the hotel as it smelled and was dirty and needed maintenance. I regret changing my reservation to that location as I was totally dissatisfied and would never stay there again. The price was not worth the stay.

Everything would have been fine but the room had a strong smell, like mold or old water.. The water from the faucette even had a horrible taste.. It was very inconvenient.. I would not recomend this hotel for those reasons.. The location was convenient for me but those reasons really made it hard to even sleep.

Read some bad reviews which made me hesitant; glad I make my own judgements. Literally 5 minutes from Mohegan Sun the hotel is dated but from what I saw, in good repair. Limited shuttle to Sun on weekdays but on weekends every half hour 'til early morning. Didn't use pool but nice bar/ restaurant with multiple TV's, darts, pool tables and a shuffleboard […] (don't see many of those around anymore!) Reasonably priced and good food. All around a good experience, would stay again. Devamı

I liked everything about my stay! We decited to go to Norwich last minute and it being a Friday there was little available in the area but the Hotel still had rooms. The rooms were very clean and plenty of room as well the staff were very helpful and the price was excellent! Also they offered free shuttle service to Mohegan which was a bonus for us. […] I would deffenetly stay here again. Devamı

The hotel itself is a little old and outdated. The indoor pool patio needs to be resurfaced. We ate in the sports bar and had breakfast at the restaurant and were satisfied with the quality of the food and service

The hotel was lovely. The location was fabulous and they even supply a free shuttle to Mohegan Sun. The room I booked was a nonsmoking room but when we went to check in they gave us a smoking room. We smelled the room and couldn't do it so they were gracious enough to switch our room to a nonsmoking room. They said the reservation garantees the room […] but not the type. I encountered friendly front desk people, a chatty bartender, and fair to good room...mine on the 6th floor had a semi musty smell but was clean so I am not sure what the essence was about. The hotel was conveniently located for an event my family was going to...I guess it would be ideal for Mohegan Sun gaming if that is what you are looking for... […] Decent value for the money. This was a great hotel for my needs - right off I395, convenient to Norwich, Groton and new London, good pricing, large rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds (all 3 in my party agreed on the great beds!). Sports bar and morning Rendevouz restaurants served above average food for this type of dining, both in relaxed atmospheres with excellent service. […] Check in and hotel front desk staff friendly, helped with directions. My only complaint was the pool. No hot tub! Pool itself needs refurbishing - desk uneven, rough and dirty, lighting terrible (we used it in the evening), towels not tidied up, no water cooler in pool area (even with those little paper cups water would be nice), no decor at all. Keep the hotel, redo the pool completely. As long as you aren't an avid swimmer, this is a great hotel Devamı

This hotel is in OK condition, but I do have a few complaints. Both the hallways and the bathrooms do not smell clean. There is a mild smell of mildew in both. The bed was good, so were the pillows. The fitness center is barely usable; it is a converted hotel room with an old treadmill and two bikes that work but have no toe straps, heart rate monitors […] etc. The TV is locked on the hotel station and cannot be adjusted for channel or volume. I stayed here to be close to Mohegan Sun, and it is close, but not easy to get to by car. I don't know if they had a shuttle, but it would be a wise addition. They also did not give out the directions to the casino which also would be a wise idea. Devamı

The pool area was full of mold and dirt . the mens bathroom in the pool area was filty If the board of health was called in they would close the pool area down.

The hotel room itself was clean and comfortable however the Television wasn't working and the hotel "sports bar" was one of the worst dinning experiences I've ever had.

Great hotel for price/value. Friendly staff, impressive room size, great beds and room service was awesome! Overall, a pleasant experience! Big fan of Holiday Inn.

The check in/out was very smooth. The staff was very nice and informative with information of surrounding attractions and available transport. The room was spacious, we chose 2 double beds and were also fortunate to find a" smoking room", however the room looked like it hadn't been dusted in quite some time. The tv, night stands, and even the headboards […] of both beds had quite the accumulation of dust. The beds were old and springy, with depression spots from repeated use. Our backs bothered us both in the morning. They did have" pay per view movies" however you had to call down to the desk to request it, which could have been very awkward if you were looking for an adult type movie. The movie we ordered(pg-13, $13.99) was frequently interrupted with skipping and frame freezing. When I reported this upon check out, I was told that they were sorry for the inconvenience, but they were excited to be putting in new flat screens. We were not offered a credit for the movie issue. Room service for breakfast was available. The choices were very limited and pricey for what was available. Overall we would give the hotel 3 stars. Devamı

Reasonable accomadations. Hotel was clean, Just stayed for the night to go to Mohegan but was very comfortable. No problems.

Nice hotel and staff. I had requested a NON SMOKING room - but it was very apparent that to room is was assigned had a smoker occupying it recently. I have asthma and smoking odors irritate my lungs. Perhaps I am overly sensitive. This is my only complaint.
