Sheraton Mahwah - Mahwah

I was rather annoyed when I discovered that they wanted to charge a significant extra per day for Internet service in the room. Fortunately I could use my cellular 4G on my iPad and there were restaurants nearby with free Wi-Fi service. It's an attractive building but was barely worth a three star rating. Nothing particularly interesting in the lobby. […] Back in the room, the grout needed to be cleaned in the shower and the HVAC system was noisy; which is good because it helped mask the noise of the elevators next door. I wonder if Hotel.com bookings always get these noisy rooms. I had to go back to my room to get coats for myself and my partner in the bar. The meals at the restaurant were unexceptional but reasonably priced. Don't look for the little extras, only one chair, no room safe, no refrigerator, not even drawers in the work desk. The desk lamps were plugged into the customer receptacles on the top of the desk and there were insufficient receptacles in the walls for these lamps. You get one outlet to use. It's a little bit of a trick to get to the hotel from the highway but if you need one, there is a helipad available. Not much going on in the neighborhood but the hotel grounds are nice. The City is only few miles away. Only had contact with the staff at checkin and checkout. They seemed helpful enough. Devamı

My wife and I used stayed at the Sheraton for a friend's wedding for two nights. The location was perfect. We were able to get off the highway and were close to the hotel in minutes. When you're at the hotel, you don't feel like you are near it. The rooms were fantastic and the bed was extremely comfortable. Only complaint was the shower head was too […] low (I'm 6 feet tall.) My wife loved that though. Very nice pool with comfortable hot tub. Breakfast Buffet was great. I would definitely go again. Devamı

Our visit was a sad situation of our Godchild's passing from Cancer. We were responsible for our children from Tn,Miss, and NH and your accomidations were of the highest level assuring our family get together the pleasant part of a sad situation.

Room and hotel were beautiful, my boys loved the pool! The only thing I wish was the room to walk around in our room, with two 10 year old boys and myself it was to small.

Very nice staff, for a non smoking hotel I was surprised to wake up to a smoke filled bathroom. I brought this to the attention of the Front Desk and they said they would take care of it. The queen size bed was really small - seemed more like a full. All of the queen size beds are located right near the elevator. Thin walls, I heard everyone checking […] out and even heard a few little girls singing in the hall while they waited. Of course a few of them could not resist knocking on the door as they passed by the room to the elevator. Some of the towels were dirty when we unfolded them. Definintely not OKAY. Nice location - off the I287 and 17 but not sure it was worth it. The parking lot is a bit of a distance from the hotel itself. Landscaping was nice with the water fountains but it seems the wasted realestate was on the elevator ride up to your room. Devamı

Hotel was fine. Restaurant service was exceptionally slow yet staff was courteous and food was very good. Wedding food and brunch the next day were fair. Expectations were not met.

This hotel exceeded our expectations; it is a class act from a to z. In addition to the usual compliments of being attractive, clean, and well-laid out, we had a beautiful mountain view from our 21st floor room. That was an unexpected surprise. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but the delicious Starbucks coffee almost made up for it. Usually, I dislike the […] coffee in most hotels, but this was great. Had to have a 10 oclock snack due to no dinner...........the quesadillas were poor, very poor. The beer was cold. The beer was a cold as the jacuzzi in the AM

I felt like we were staying in a office building more than a hotel. Over price for what you get. The outside of the building is very impressive, but we were disapointed when we got inside. The rooms are very small, we stayed for a total of 6 nights and the Showtime and other cable chanels were not working. Called the front desk and all they said was […] it must the the cable company. I wish we would have stayed at one of the other hotels that were near by, but I booked at this hotel because it looked so grand. On the upside the beds and beddig were very comfortable. Devamı

Nice hotel.Would stay there again. Convenient covered parking available which was aplus for me and friends with exotic cars as it rained and having covered parking was a plus. I would find another restaurant to eat at though as the hotel restaurant food was not that impressive.

I stayed because it seemed nice enough and near the Woodbury Commons. But it was far from the Woodbury Commons. The restaurant was very expensive and nothing else nearby. The hotel air quality felt poor. The pool was cold, and the change rooms of the pool were in terrible shape. The foyer was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very […] small. My boyfriend and I stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding that was being held at the Sheraton. The room was great; the view was beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend not only to stay here but if you are planning a wedding, they do an excellent job!!!!!

Would not stay again, lobby is nice but not much else.

The hotel was spotless, the pool was the warmest ever and the room service was quick! Will try to stay here whenever we are in the area.

Fine hotel with an enjoyable atmosphere. Great service, quality restaurant, and, albeit small, enjoyable bar.

This Sheraton was probably the best thing that was in the town of Mahwah. It is a stand out in the tiny town, you can see it from I287 and wonder how it got there. It was pet friendly and had a great indoor pool/jacuzzi. While visiting relatives in Suffren this hotel was less than 10 minutes away. Great beds and an elevator that kids will just love […] ! Hotel has a nice exterior, pretty good food, located right off the highway, and pretty good service. Hit a couple snags when I first checked in, but desk staff was friendly & accommodating. Restaurant was good - nice views from the rooms - a good choice for the business traveler.
